What did you think of the movie? I watched it on the 14th the day of release and tbh it felt like a mix of clips with a sudden ending to me with no proper transitions and all, I usually dont criticise movies as much but this one was a bit ehh..

@@airtimer2958wdym. The movie is entirely chronological. It goes by fast because it’s only 1hr 30mins and focuses solely on the biggest events from his life. They would need an entire television series to fit everything from his life into one doc.

I saw him live. He was like a dervish onstage; never stopped moving for a moment. You couldn't take your eyes off him; I never saw an audience so totally enthralled. When I saw him I realized that this is what they meant by charisma - he had an amazing energy.

My mother and father saw him perform @ Wembley. I wasn't yet born. My dad reminds me anytime I listen to Bob Marley's music, he likes to rub it in that he got to see Bob live, several times, and has also seen all of Bob's children and grandchildren perform as well.

I was only 15 when Bob and the Wailers played at the Rainbow. I would have given anything to be at the gig. His legacy lives on with his music and children. One love from the Costa Blanca, Spain.

His dancing at the beginning is an expression of the bass player Aston Barrett one of the creator of reggae music and a master who made Marley music great, and the drummer, that's his brother Carly Barrett they have been playing together since they were five years old, no wonder they are so good, you don't get that good overnight

I cant believe that this was more than 30years ago - it was a great concert, wicked vibes - I lived in London at the time and we always went to his concerts - And look how reggae has spread since then - all over the world!! So much talent out there..

The answer is obviously no, would not be the same as "Scratch" (whom I have seen live years ago at a festival in Brighton England) had an influence in the early days. However after their "disagreement" they had little contact. However, do I believe the songs would be just as soulful, spiritual and down right uplifting, yes I do!!! Bob had something special in the way he spoke to the world and in the way they listened!!! Was it the same without Peter and Bunny, no but just as feeling! If you have never seen it look for Bob Marley on "the old grey whistle test" I'll say no more than watch it!!!😁😁😁

When i did the calculations I was 8 growing up in the Island of Brabadis and i recalled my mom saying in very unbelievable and sorrowful way “Bob Marley dead. I knew he was of some importance. He was a gift from God.

As a kid running through the alleys after dark Bob Marley was playing in every garage and backyard party with Marijuana smoke floating heavy in the air after dark. Loved hearing him playing in the old boom box.
