Yesterday, Daniel Daly and I decided to leak something new for our beloved Marley-fans. In these days it's very hard to release a full concert of Bob from his career. Only petty things like products under his name are still released til this day what the fans wouldn't appreciate. They are more interested in Bob's message and what he really stood for. Like unreleased footage, documantaries interviews, concerts, pictures and music from his lifetime. Hopefully that we can leak more beautiful stuff and that this concert can be released.
This is a super rare footage from Bob's second stop at Massey Hall (Canada, Toronto) on June 8, 1975 during his Natty Dread tour with The Wailers. It's just 10 minutes long and was filmed originally by CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Cooperation) who have the complete show in their archives. We saw just snippets from 2 news reports of the same performance what was very short. But this performance was very RAW!!!!!!! and he danced just like his favorite idol James Brown and showing some acrobatic moves on stage.
Editor's Note: due to two extra views of Bob "Shooting the sheriff", Daniel made at 6:04-6:10 a multi cam shot. Bob made a loud noise like he was the bullet that been fired. Also please excuse the slow- motion section between 7:11-7:27 since an abrupt cut had happened.
The Band: Bob Marley, Aston and Carlton Barrett, Alvin "Seeco" Patterson (RIP), Tyrone Downie, Al Anderson, Rita Marley and Judy Mowatt.
Note: Marcia Griffiths was missing due pregnancy.
Thank you so much to Daniel and Frank Jones for helping out 💚💛❤👊🏿
ONE LOVE!!!!!
Filmed: On June 8, 1975/Massey Hall (Toronto, Canada) during the "Natty Dread" tour.
