I am 53. I saw The wailers played in my home town in Australia in ¹984. So I missed Bob by 3 years. You can imagine how I feel. They still rocked and had almost all the original members. And Bob's music is somehow more relevant today on a global scale. He was a revolutionary "Death to the white and black oppressors" Confront your oppressors! No compliance!

I remember the moment i learned he had died. You could feel the loss upon the earth...that you were somehow alone in this dimension without him...only his essence and energy remained (and his message, naturally), but the loss was palpable. Very sad day, indeed. ...and young person, you have no idea how exciting it was to be alive when his new music hit. THEY NEVER disappointed. "Natty Dread" is a personal fave.

Yes, I did think about it sometimes and desire it, but thats not addiction but common sense.. just because you like something, or you know it do you good, it doesnt automaticly mean you are addicted to it.. well, maybe some. There are many that wont get addicted to nothing that doesnt cause physical addiction, because you their will and values in their lives.. but there also people that are addicted to burgers and suger.. so..

@The Journey What good does it to warn and try to scare others? What good does it to wish upon others an eternal hell for not believing in the same exact thing you do? What good does it do for a "God" to have preferences. What good does it do to demonize the entire world, including yourself and others? What good does it do to kill, enslave, colonize and "convert" in the name of hypocritical justice and "God"? What good does it do to say that every religion and every book about "God" that is not the Bible is really about Satan? What good does it do to tell people who worship Mother Earth that they worship Satan and they will burn in hell? What good does it do to tell people that if they worship Brahman they will be tortured in eternal hell by a sadist, vengeful, angry, unreasonable, "God"? What good does it do to say that if you worship Jesus you will be followed and hated by others, and thus creating paranoia in whoever worships Jesus? What good does a religion that wishes eternal hell on anyone who does not agree with them do? Some kind religion that you follow. Some peaceful religion. Constantly in war with all other religions.
@OnlytrustinJesus4 жыл бұрын
@The Journey If that's all you have to say, I'm sorry but you're providing no proof that anything that you claim to be true is true. Write the truth right here on youtube and put the proof right here. We're on a public forum for a reason, to discuss public issues. And find answers. So share here with all, not in private where you could potentially verbally abuse me without anyone knowing.
@OnlytrustinJesus4 жыл бұрын
I believe all of us are brothers and sisters. Not some brothers and some possessed or sinners. If you base yourself of the premise that you're one of Christ's "chosen ones" then you will automatically presume yourself as special and more important than "sinners" or "possessed" ones. If you base yourself of the premise that you are divine and everything is divine you will automatically presume that everyone and everything is equal to you. There's no superiority, no inferiority. Everyone and everything is valuable. And thus, there is no need for war, nor fights. Only in peace can humans live in bliss. In war there can only be suffering as history has shown over and over again.
