Bob Miller changed m y life forever. He brought me in to the Exploratorium when I was 12 years old. He taught me to build exhibits. I worked there for the next 18 years. Great to hear his voice again on this video. The "Light Walks" he gave were a privilege to participate in.

Thank you for talking and demonstrating at a reasonable speed. I didn't have to back up the video and replay over and over as is the case with much of what passes for teaching videos these days!

Nice. Same Bob Miller who used mirrors to generate paresthesias long before others used mirrors to treat phantom limb pain in amputees. Miller, B. Mirrorly a Window; Recipe #11. David Peterzell thanks for the reference! I read about that kind of treatment in M.S. Ramachandrans book Phantoms of the Brain but don't remember Bob Miller being mentioned.

Why can't they make videos like this anymore? It's calm and informative. The same thing today would likely not be a serious presentation, and it would probably contain animation and annoying music.
