Love the footage at 4:00 mins even though it ends with a goalie cover. Granted the Blues are getting shellacked here, but Probert keeps the play alive on the dump-in, plays a bouncing puck in the corner first, gets it back and plays it to the point, then drives the net and almost gets another goal after kicking the puck to his stick. Garth Butcher was a pretty good defensive defenseman and had his hands full. True power forward stuff.

A realm shame. Definitely had his demons but was a well-liked guy with a nice family. His wife Dani has done a great job keeping his legacy alive, and for 10 years she did the Bob Probert Motorcycle ride & raised 1mill+ for cardiac care. Before he passed, Bob told Dani he wanted to donate his brain after he learned about CTE. She followed through and that was either the first or second instance of a former NHLer with a confirmed case. She also completed the auto-biography he was writing.
