I watched all Bob’s Burgers episodes. However, there have been two episodes that stand out. The first one is The Plight Before Christmas. This was one of the best episode, and now this episode They Slug Horses, Don't They?. What’s so great is that both episodes are about the relationship between Louise and Tina.

A serious and realistic take on fights between siblings. This episode is simple yet divine like Amelia, or the Some Like It Bot episodes. A calm demeanor with a situation we see in our daily lives projected on the fictional world of Bob's Burgers. With no exaggerated cartoonish undertones. (I mean, Gayle's weird, but it's not cartoonish weird.) It is entertaining while giving the viewer something to think about - something to look back on their relationship or internal struggles. Bob's Burgers keeps getting more mature every day. It is a great show, and I don't see it going bad for many more years to come.

I'm actually crying😭 as someone who had a close relationship with my sister as a kid, but since she moved out it just hasnt been the same, this literally feels like a punch in the gut. Ive known her all my life and i have so many happy memories with her, but she doesn't really talk to me anymore and it hurts. This episode is so special, you can see how each sister reacts to this situation in their own way, its good character exploration: tina is holding onto all her insecurities (like she does) and has always felt that louise doesnt like her very much, or at least in comparison to gene. I could feel her pain, because i just relate a lot to her already lol (autism😭😭) that scene of tinas face dropping when she thought back to how louise called her boring... omfg tina I FEEL YOU. The way you can see how actually insecure she is about her interests and hobbies and worries so much about what people may think😭. And with louise you can see how she thinks about the situation in a different kind of way: she thinks tina is better than her, or she thinks that tina might think that, i think this might relate back to her worries of not being "a girl right" (from the pixie walk episode) tina is a sweet kind girl and louise feels like she isnt that and felt inferior in comparison. They love eachother so much im actually weeping😭😭

My Twin Sister Aarica told me this episode made her emotional, so I watched... how did angry Bob and his kids make me sober like a child? Man, they need an Emmy or a golden globe or an oscar.. whatever. I've listened to the 42 seconds over and over and 😢 . I had to leave for about 7 years and I missed her more than anyone other than my children. It sucked 😅
@91Definite13 күн бұрын
Bob Burger’s really need to make more episodes like these. Louise is the most popular child out the series? But Tina is definitely a underrated character 😂! Especially when she gets mad! Tina is definitely a sweetheart and deserves a lot! Reminds me and my little brother we were definitely the opposite of each other like Tina and Louise. We would fight when we was kids and even adults but deep down he has love for me. Even said out of me and our big brother I was the one that was there. Sometimes I felt like I wasn’t there but to him I was. Siblings make mistakes and it doesn’t always mean you haven’t been the best big brother or big sister. You still have time to correct them. He understood times I was fucked up especially being abused by his father growing up. Even nowadays he look at him totally different now cause of what he done. Now taking in his wife’s daughter that’s not biologically his? He won’t make that mistake his father made. That’ll definitely heal me from a child that was 💯🥹.

I haven’t watched. Too worried about the premise. Do Bob or Linda dish out any punishments or groundings to the kids, or do they step back? They don’t punish often, as shown in the past
@OMGSOSILLEH18 күн бұрын
they threaten to at first but don’t end up doing it
@giovanniiamunno787418 күн бұрын
@OMGSOSILLEH not the best thing to do obviously. Why don't they in the end? Do they just calm down and take it back? Is it only threatened once at a point in the episode and not brought up again? To both or just one of them? I just need clarification, that's all.
@AverageDonaldDuckFan17 күн бұрын
The parenting approach with Bob and Linda is that the like to have the kids work it out themselves, but in this episode they tell Louise that she needs to make an "I'm sorry" card to apologize to Tina, or else she'd be grounded. It doesn't work out like they wanted, but then Tina and Louise reconcile by the end, so no punishment was needed.
@giovanniiamunno787417 күн бұрын
@AverageDonaldDuckFan But then how come after the failed attempt of the first apology Card, Bob and Linda didn't ground Louise and enforce their threat?
@AverageDonaldDuckFan17 күн бұрын
@giovanniiamunno7874 they went out and had Gayle watch them, and then Gayle showed them something from her and Linda's past that helped them realize how unfair they're both being because of their own insecurities as sisters. It may be implied that they both were grounded at the end with the last card, but personally, if they came to an understanding and stopped fighting, I don't really see the need for further punishment. Punishing them after reconciliation when there isn't really a need to can lead to resentment.
