Bob’s Machine Kick back plate on Jon boat

Do you have a solid transom down to bottom,could not tell from video.Some smaller Jon’s don’t have full transom and wonder if installing one on them woukd be possible or advisable?

My transom isn't supported all the way down so I will find out if it will be an issue on the water... stay tuned.
