Bob Saget was Sooo much more hilarious than most people realize...His wholesome Danny Tanner was so far removed from who he really was. As a fan I feel it's one of the greatest jokes he ever did...RIP Bob Saget, truly one of the greats!!

please stop... it's so annoying to see people virtue signalling about how good his standup was and how different it was from a TV character he played 30 years ago. he's been in 50 other things also on top of his standup. just cause you just realized he's not danny tanner irl doesn't mean you need to tell everyone about this amazing thing you found out that everyone already knew.

The weird part of growing up is seeing those who were so influential in your life pass, and unfortunately, often not realizing their true impact on your life until they are gone. There will of course be many more similarly influential people to come, but none will ever be like, nor make an equivalent impact, quite like Bob Saget managed to. I hope for nothing but peace and love for his family and all those whose lives he had an impact on in these difficult days, weeks, and months ahead. Bob Saget was a wonderful man who will be dearly missed by many people, and remembered for they joy and comfort he brought so many.

I saw him in September in Bend, Oregon. I booked the tickets right after I found out Norm Macdonald died because I never saw Norm live and didn't want that regret with Bob too. He was a greater stand up than anything else. Always interacting with the crowd, a million jokes a minute, talk about things like his blue ball falling off after lack of sex and a squirrel running away with it. A super funny and, by all accounts, nice guy. Will be missed for sure.

Ah that was great. Man, he can flip between Danny Tanner & himself so seamlessly. I'm still upset about Norm. Now Bob too? Louie Anderson is gone & Betty White just a couple of weeks ago? The comedy world has taken some gutwrenching punches recently.

I feel weird watching this rn. He seems so alive like I remember him. But he's gone. That's going to happen to every single person that reads this comment eventually. Mortality is a hell of a thing

I can see it now... Bob gets to the pearly gates and Norm Macdonald greets him. Norm: If there's one thing I know about Bob Saget.... Its that he's dead. Bob: Its good to see you too, Norm.

I cried when Bob died, I felt like a pice of my childhood was dead. Its weird because I don’t know him and I never thought it would hit me like that. Crazy, when he was alive I was like yeah “Dani tanner!, I watched him as a kid!” Now I’m like, I should’ve gone to one of his shows or done something to try to meet him or something.. we really don’t appreciate the ppl we have until they’re gone 😞
