On November 28, 2018 My nephew ended his life. I wanted to have a November to Remember. The last day of that month I got the phone call that he "had passed away". It took a self inflicted shot to his head to end his troubled, sometime tourtured life. I came across Lonlyland earlier that year and wanted so much to share that music with him. Our relationship was the most difficult out of all my famial ties. I was the Uncle he was never able to truly love, with all my own baggage. His life and death had the greatest effect of me toward my own health and happines. Which I found. Along with a few new songs, some old ones. And lot of hope to rock the boat. And maybe true "blue skies" for everyone. Including me. A thankful quest.

Amazing song. Brought tears to my eyes. Especially Eliott Smith, MCA, Chris Cornell and Scott Weiland. Not to take anything away from the rest, but they hit me the hardest. Bob Schneider is such an amazing talent. I met him here in Phoenix about 2 months ago. He shook my hand and congratulated me on my 9 years of continuous sobriety. Love you Bob.

Always been amazed at how prolific a songwriter Bob is. This is about as perfect a eulogy as any musician could hope for.

The unrepentant sincerity of this song breaks my heart and mends it at the same time. Thanks, Bob, for the beautiful tunes. I'll be grateful until I melt.

Beautiful & reverent to a fault, but I kept looking for Jim Croce & was disappointed when it ended without his image.😟.
