The American Music Awards needs to give this man a lifetime achievement award which is very well deserved. Bob Seger is a monumental musical Icon and a National Treasure! The Famous Final Scene reaches into your heart and soul. Amazing lyrics. I saw him and his amazing band at the Palace sitting front row off the left side of stage and Bob walked this offshoot catwalk singing Hollywood Nights and was about 10-12 feet from me and he looked right at me with my fist pumped high in the air and he smiled right at me. Bob is the only recording artist to have the most songs ever in major motion picture movies, that speaks volumes to his honor for being such a remarkable singer, songwriter and musician. Thank you Bob for all the memories.

This might be interesting to you that I'm originally an Iranian. At the time I was in the Iranian navy and then during the war, together with one of my fellow naval officer, Jim Croce and Bob Seger were both our favorite American singers. This was decades ago, but still love them both, admire them a lot, and listen to their great songs with so much joy. Bob is just amazing. God bless him.

Detroit’s own Bob Seger. One of this Californian’s all time favorites, and this is one of my all time favorite rock songs. Bob was singing to me about my eminent divorce from my then husband. The performer has aged and so has the audience, but there will never be another Bob Seger. And the names have all been changed, but it will always be Pine Knob to me. So many memories. So many great times. And now, we sit here wondering if we are going to even make it to the end of the year, and if we do, if the world will be so changed once we come out on the other side...wondering if there will even ever be days like this again with people packed shoulder to shoulder in Clarkston, MI...or anywhere. The famous final scene. Indeed.
