Bob is a hit factory!! More Bob. Any Bob. Any time.❤❤

His biggest song was probably Night Moves. That really put him on the map. My favorite is probably “Like a Rock”. Bob is a master of capturing the inescapable tendency of we humans to reflect on what we’ve done and where we’ve been as we get older.

More Bob! Woohoo! Can't go wrong with Seger. Nice reaction. Like you were implying, this message is kinda timeless. Saw them live back in the day. Great live performers! Roll Me Away or Night Moves might be something to check out next. Thanks!

Roll Me Away is another great song by Bob Seger. The piano is always in his songs. I've listened to him scene 1973. I've seen him live in concert 6 times. Can't get enough of his music.

Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band.... one of the best concerts ever I ever saw in the early 1980s ! Bob gives 200% every time.... definitely one of the greatest singer-songwriters, stoytellers in rock-n-roll history 🙂🎙

Bob's most emotional song, and my personal fave is NIGHT MOVES. A young person will react to the first half with excitement, and as you get older, the real meaning of the song will give you a wistful look. If you are over 50, you will cry your eyes out.

I'll be 60 years old next month. Bob Seger is the soundtrack of my youth, among others as well. I remember singing these lyrics as a teenager behind the wheel of my car, vowing to myself that this would never happen to me. But it did. My value doesn't exceed anything beyond making a paycheck.

I went from albums to 8 tracks to cassette tapes and to CD's buying Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Bands music, but only got to see them twice in person. His songs are so relatable to life. Though he's only had one number 1 hit on the charts, I would say he has many that were worthy. He can sing all genres of music also. Great reaction!

Bob Seger is a rock music legend. He wrote and produced hits from the 1960s through the 1990s. Few artists have made top-notch music for such a lengthy time period. Admitted to the R&R HOF and the Songwriters HOF. Truly a gifted songwriter, but his VOICE is unique among the all time greats. It grabs you and permeates you through his range, raspy raw passion, his emotional resonance and often his lyrics. Bob's got SOUL in his voice, and he shows it immediately up front in his music. Seger songs you MUST hear are Like a Rock, Night Moves, Against the Wind, Roll Me Away and one that few give much attention to (probably due to it being released in 1991, near the end of his brilliant career) but is one of his best: The Fire Inside.

Bob was a great writer, and a great voice. Bob was a regional hit maker until Live Bullet came out (75, 76??) that broke him nationally. Live Bullet is one of the greatest live albums ever. You did Turn the Page, but check out Katmandu, Nutbush, Get out of Denver, Jody Girl, I've Been Workin sometime. Not necessarily as reactions, but just to enjoy one of the greats and his band at his peak. It was recorded at Cobo Hall in Detroit, his home stomping grounds, and it's really something.

I came of age in the 60's and the feeling was the same , but even stronger . WE were the first generation to widely revolt against the system .I was a Zen Buddhist hippie who lived in a loft in the East Village . I had been on my own since I was 15. I did all forms of psychedelic drugs , I wrote poetry , I protested against the Viet Nam war . Then my girlfriend got pregnant , we got married and went establishment . Before computers an individual could slip through the cracks to a degree , now I am trying to remain as invisible as possible to the shit which runs the country .

I am 79 , I have been fighting this my whole life, but far too often have had to compromise my principles in so many ways in order to support my family .. Fortunately I was good enough at dealing with the de-humanizing bullshit to have a degree of success , but at great personal cost . Sadly , I have only seen the situation continue to get worse . I have been retired for 17 years now, . We live on a small island by the ocean , but the SYSTEM keeps on intruding on us . The only bad days I have are when I have to deal with some form of government or other bureaucratic BULLSHIT which THEY always tell me is for my own benefit LOL. When I tell them that it is only for their own pitiful bureaucratic existence they get offended ...

Listen to Seger's studio versions, even the lyric ones, because his videos often cut off portions of the song to fit the time limits of older video productions. Like a Rock is a good full video, but Night Moves and The Fire Inside videos cut away really good portions of the song.

Bob Seger unlike many artists ( Bruce Springsteen ) never sold his soul to be famous. he kept control of his music and because he didn't sign over everything to a record label he didn't have the push that labels can do for an artist, which is why he was not as big as Springsteen in the 80's even though his song were so superior. Springsteen has said that he wishes he had the catalogue that Seger has to pick from for his concerts. You could literally do multiple concerts and not play the same song twice if he wanted
