I did not know Bob Uecker had pancreatic cancer. There is no question in my mind that the biggest development in over the past 20 years of cancer treatment is that people (both patients and loved ones) are willing to talk about their experiences with cancer. Doing so gives the rest of us the courage to make better decisions when faced with the challenge of dealing with cancer.
