Well done! I just bought a used new chatter tool with 4 different blades. Still in the plastic. I’m going to play with it tonight. I’m excited about it. This encouraged me quite a bit that your blade worked so well. I could see making dedicated handles for each blade pretty easily. I was thinking a dowel split and wrapped with a hose clamp would be sufficiently strong. The hose clamp would act as a ferrule. Say a 1” dowel/handle. Turned pleasant to hold. That way you could switch easily from one to the next on one piece. The handle on my commercial one is only like 6” long so I don’t think they generate much torque. I love the idea of the bolt and I do have taps etc. but I’m working hard for a show in Durango Colorado so I’m, well I’m also always looking for an easy way out. Ok, I’m old and worn out and love shortcuts. Captain Eddie Castellin is my hero. Wood turning on a budget! Yeah. Wondering your thoughts on this idea if you want to reply. Loved this video a bunch. Exactly what I was looking for. Watched 3 or 4 videos then yours and now I’m confident it will go well! One thing I like about it is if I screw it up I can erase it with a pass with a gouge or scraper. Take care, Scott

Thanks Bob for your work on this video. What brand pen are you using and do they run with a finish like shellac?
