Excellent idea. Very well presented. Easy to make. Inexpensive. 👍👍 What's not to like. Three years old. . . don't know how I missed it in all that time.🤔 Thank you for sharing. And remember, when the wood goes around, the face shield comes down.🙂🙂

I'm subscribing not just because your videos are informative but low key that was funny as hell that backdrop wasn't real. I thought you were outside until you brought out the white board. And you can tell your wife is trying her best with the camera zooms and what not. lol. But serious. Informative thanks!

What do you do to jeep tool in place in béa ring thanks🎉
@JimRodgersWoodturner Жыл бұрын
A small rare earth magnet is cemented into the bottom of the hole with a little CA glue. The tool snaps to it and stays in place.

Great. Now where do I get those bearings?
@JimRodgersWoodturner Жыл бұрын
Granger, KBC tools, and tool makers supply. They should be common product.

What do u think about single cut burrs?
@JimRodgersWoodturner2 жыл бұрын
Not problem. May work better on softer woods. Don't drag them back and forth, pull in one direction to get a cleaner cut. JimR

Looked on amazon and cannot find the bushings. What are they called??
@JimRodgersWoodturner3 жыл бұрын
they are double sealed bearings with an ID of 1/8 inch and an OD of 3/8 inch. The amazon location of them is: https: //www.amazon.com/uxcell-R2-2RS-Groove-Bearing-Bearings/dp/B0824WN2RB/ref=sr_1_13?dchild=1&keywords=3%2F8+x+1%2F8+DS+bearings&qid=1629324774&s=industrial&sr=1-13 Just cut and paste this link into your browser and get them shipped. How would these work on wood?
@JimRodgersWoodturner3 жыл бұрын
Generally great on end grain and closed grain woods. If the wood is soft - it's a no-go. I used acrylic for the demonstration as the pattern is easily seen by the camera. JimR
