I feel like it is pretty obvious Superman won’t have the Peacemaker or The Suicide Squad level of humour. The age rating for Peacemaker was 18, and The Suicide Squad was 15. Superman, at max, will probably be a 12. So I can’t imagine Superman listing off a bunch of characters and the screaming “the f*cking c*nts from Riverdale!” Like Peacemaker did. The humour will hopefully hit, but won’t be as frequent or as crass as Peacemaker or The Suicide Squad.

Didn’t Peter Safran’s wife (Natalie) also “confirm” Jason Momoa as Lobo. Someone under her post said “Bring on Lobo” and she replied with “You know it!” Or something? I’m disappointed in the Booster Gold casting but I can accept it. Also the only character I hope returns to the DCU from the DCEU is King Shark. I loved TSS’s version of the character. I believe he could appear in Creature Commandos, Waller or even Peacemaker Season 2. He was so lovable imo, I just hope to see him. Not to mention if Creature Commandos gets a season 2, they could use King Shark on the team seeing as he’s not a human and is more like a monster anyway

If one casting is big enough for you to question your support for an entire movie franchise then just don't..... movies about FICTIONAL characters shouldn't have that much of a weight but if it bothers you so much then rid yourself of stress and drop the DCU. Is the casting perfect? NO! but is he a bad Booster Gold? We don't know yet! If this is enough to make you iffy on the DCU then just drop it. It's okay not to like the casting....just don't watch the show but if it's enough to sway your support for the dcu the you probably weren't that interested to begin with.

I looked at the time between the first trailer dropping for both GXK: A New Empire and Deadpool and Wolverine. My estimation is that we will get the first Superman trailer on January 27th 2025. I worked this out by seeing the difference between Deadpool and Wolverine’s release date (July 26th) and the first trailer drop which was February 11th. Superman will release 15 days before Deadpool and Wolverine (this is in the respective year, because D and W has already released) on July 11th 2025. So knock 15 days off of February 11th (because 26-11 🟰 15) and you’re left with January 27th. This is my estimation. I’m probably wrong

They'd be making a mistake if Selina didn't come back as "Catwoman". In the making of everyone clearly spoke that this is a pre-Catwoman world. She gave the movie juice in the first movie and I can see their relationship moving up to Bruce/Selina level, but at the same time delaying because she'll be the real Catwoman. I think she could mess him up pretty badly, but at the same time, if Bruce happens to reveal his identity to her, she could end up coming over to his side, like in the new comics.

We can't forget the strong reactions from Heath Ledger, Robert Pattinson or even Ben Affleck. We'll have to wait and see how he delivers to have a proper opinion. I agree with Booster Gold. While I am slightly disappointed at the (yes, rumoured) casting, I’ll still probably enjoy the show. It won’t really affect anything major for me, but it will slightly annoy me. Having said this, this is the only casting I’ve ever been skeptical about. I just feel like there are too many differences between Kumail and Booster Gold, like the height, race and age. Although if he performs amazingly, I’ll be fine with it.

The difference being that those are all experienced actors who have proven their worth time and time again. Kumail has mostly starred in projects with poor reception, he plays the same character every time with little to no variation, he is far too old for the role and looks nothing like the character. If he somehow blows the world away and proves he is the perfect casting for BG, I'll be the first person to say it. But from where I'm standing, there is no reason to be excited by this casting, and we every reason to voice our concerns. All we can do is hope.

What I don’t understand about the Booster Gold casting is why would James have cast an actor already for a project that isn’t even greenlit? It goes against a lot of things he has been saying. The theories of this character showing up in something else before is plausible but a not exactly a good idea. This is definitely one of those castings that should be announced. I personally hate it, racebending aside I am annoyed that all live action variations of the character have been played by older actors when in the comics Booster Gold is in his early 30s at most, he definitely shouldn’t be older than Superman.

James Gunn said something (I believe he did so don’t take my word fully) about not having each project be a direct continuation of a previous project. So you won’t have to have watched Creature Commandos to watch Peacemaker to watch Superman ect ect. He said something like, you can kind of jump in anywhere. Any post credit scene will probably be additional jokes of the character themselves or an extra scene setting up a sequel. It won’t connect to other projects releasing

Im definitely curious about Catwoman's presence in Part 2. The first movie ends with her leaving Gotham, and rumor is that Penguin will end shortly before Part 2 begins. So idk if its enough time for Selina to be gone before bringing her back in a major way. I still think maybe she will be mostly absent in Part 2, with maybe a small cameo if Batman is lead to Bludhaven for some reason during the movie. Then perhaps will get her own series on Max later to go in depth with where she was and what she was doing during that time before returning in a bigger way for Part 3(hopefully).

I think isabela would've made a better batgirl. As for who Corenswet auditioned for, i think it was for the main villain who is a gangster and is also batgirls love interest.

The main villian was Firefly. Firefly worked for the gangster boss he would've been a secondary antagonist. Batgirls love interest is the son of the mob boss, not the boss himself.

I heard they designed Batsy’s cowl to resemble a skull for The Batman. Because it was Halloween, I guess. That should mean they might redesign the cowl for the next one. So it fits in to that holiday or whatever

SMH!!!😆😆😆🤦🏿‍♂️. These are sad days for WB. Nothing about this reboot screams excitement. Everything about it, scream lame duck vibes. Gunn's only success was at Disney, under Kevin's vision. Not his own and that was off the backs of other MCU movies. His past has mad flops and he has NO merits to be making a Superman movie. Matt Reeves batverese will save DC and this Superman reboot or DCU reboot is already DOA. Only a small voice of minorities want this. The majority either not supporting or don't even care about it. Marvel will once again regins supreme and will stay there, Dc is no competition fr marvel.Nvr was for Marvel! But at least they know how to bounce back. WB isn't bouncing back and they losing mad stocks over at WB. When this fails? I have this weird feeling that Gunn will disappear or just be hanging around other studios for information. I just don't see this DCU reboot saving the day at WB.🤷🏿‍♂️✌🏿💯
