Creature Commandos I would be more excited for Paradise Lost if Wonder Woman was involved but it’s a prequel so that kinda tampers my excitement for that. It was close between Swamp Thing and Booster Gold for me as well but I give Swamp Thing the slight edge because James Mangold will be directing. Booster Gold will basically be a futuristic version of Peacemaker. Lastly, I have The Authority as high as I do because Superman will likely be appearing in that film and it will have a big impact on the overall plot of the DCU

This was harder to rank than I expected. 1. The Brave and the Bold (As much as I like Nolan's and Reeves Batman films, I want a more faithful interpretation with the more fantastical elements included which is hopefully what we get) 2. Lanterns (A new live action Green Lantern is long over due and the True Detective comparison definitely raised my hype level) 3. Swamp Thing (I loved what Mangold did with The Wolverine and Logan, so having him do a dark DC film is like a dream come true) 4. Superman Legacy (I'm not a huge Superman fan so I'm more so excited about seeing a fresh start for universe and hopefully the story lives up to expectations) 5. Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow (Like Superman I'm not a huge fan of the character, but I think the storyline of this book is fantastic and I hope it's done justice) 6. Creature Commandos (I'm not familiar with the characters, but the it being animated and the designs definitely have my attention) 7. The Authority (I know nothing about these characters, so I don't really have any expectations) 8. Paradise Lost (Game of Thrones with Amazons is an amazing idea, but could easily be done wrong, so this is very much a wait and see) 9. Booster Gold (I'm looking forward to seeing this character in live action, but I'm not a big fan of comedies.) 10. Waller (I enjoyed Peacemaker and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, so I'm really not sure why I'm not more excited about this one)

Guy being older doesn't mean that he was the first GL from Earth. He just got his ring when he was older than the other Lanterns. Green Lanterns aren't chosen when they turn 21 or something, they're chosen at random moments in their life.

The next Justice League film is Zero Hour Crisis in Time, the story where Hal Jordan becomes Parallax. The storyline has all the heroes that James Gunn has announced!!

Here is my list: 1. Superman Legacy - This film is basically the building block of the DCU imo. It'll be the film that kind of gives us a glimpse into the other films and what not. I already like the cast and can't wait to see what they do with it. 2. Swamp Thing - Bias on this one. Alan Moore's Swamp Thing was/is my favorite series of comics behind Neil Gaiman's Sandman. I really like the tv version we got and was pretty upset when it was cancelled before even ending. Hopefully they try and recreate that series with the Swamp Thing films as they would be a fun way to reintroduce Constantine. 3. Green Lanterns - Green Lantern was my favorite Justice League member as a kid and if it really is Hal Jordan & John Stewart together as a buddy cop series... I'm all in. GL has some of the greatest stories in DC especially with Geoff Johns series so it'll be interesting to see where Gunn takes it. 4. Batman: Brave & the Bold - Another film that will make or break the DCU imo. Superman & Batman have to be perfect for it to work. Not only that but the two characters have to have the ability for the audience to see them as friends as well. In my opinion, Batman needs to a little bit older than Superman but just old enough that you could still see these guys hanging out and doing double dates together. I really think Jensen Ackles would be great as Batman but I could also see Ben Barnes or Alan Ritchson as Bruce Wayne / Batman. Though if they go younger Oliver Jackson-Cohen would be great also. 5. The Authority - I don't have a lot of experience with the Authority other than like Midnighter & Apollo. So, I'm excited to see them in a film & what that film would look like. Also, Rick Cosnett as Apollo & Luke Evans as Midnighter. -- I had Matt Bomer as Apollo & Zachary Quinto so a combo of the four would work. Either way they decide to do this film... it's an interesting idea for a DCU project using a Wildstorm group this early. 6. Supergirl: Woman of the Tomorrow - This could be higher, but the idea of Jensen Ackles finally being Batman and what they could do with the Authority slightly beats it. Also, I haven't read Tom King's series yet but it's on my list so who knows this could change very soon. 7. Creature Commandos - I really love horror & monsters, and seeing this series really had me excited and wanting to actually read the Creature Commandos books once this series comes out. Not much to say other than that. 8. Booster Gold - Booster Gold is one of those background characters of DC where you like them and you read their stories when they get them but you know they'll never really be more than just a background character who gets a limited series every once in awhile. 9. Paradise Lost - I like the idea of the game of thrones politics but with the Amazons.. other than that eh. 10. Waller - Are we really supposed to like Waller as a character? Not sure if I'll even realize this was released till it's almost over. Though who knows it may surprise me.

I love the potential of all these upcoming projects. I want to see some characters that make the audience think as well as awe them with some feats tied to their unique powers. DC has a great community of characters and exciting locales. The universe is bigger than the Trinity. And we should see Wayne Tech, Kord products, and bits and pieces of history and lore in the background of all the movies. Fingers crossed.

10 - Paradise Lost (Something has to be last and nothing about this series excites me all that much) 9 - Waller (It's the only show/movie in Gods & Monsters that feels like we've already seen it) 8 - Swamp Thing (Could be very cool and I like the director choice but I'm not a horror movie fan) 7 - Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (Depends on how the story goes but having read the books I think it's a better book than movie) 6 - Booster Gold (Will absolutely be well made and done but feels derivative of Peter Quill) 5 - Brave & The Bold (We've seen a LOT of Batman projects over the years. Another one doesn't excite as much as the top 4 projects do) 4 - Lanterns (A True Detective style show with Green Lanterns as the detectives? Sounds amazing!) 3 - The Authority (This is going to be spectacular and I can't wait to see it) 2 - Creature Commandos (This will be the first thing we see that is part of Gods & Monsters. It'll set the tone, the table and the world for all that follows. It makes it to #2 because I know it'll be better than any of us think it'll be, like Peacemaker was, and when it begins it means that the Gods & Monsters era has officially begun) 1 - Superman: Legacy (A passion project written and directed by James Gunn starring the Man of Steel with a bunch of other DC characters involved...this is going to be amazing and I cannot wait to see it)

1 - Superman: Legacy - Undoubtedly the most important movie of the roster. It will set the stage for Gunn’s DCU and Superman, the most crucial character in any DC universe (I’m a Batman fan through and through but this is just the case) 2 - Lanterns - We have been LONG overdue a new live action Green Lantern portrayal, as we were robbed of John Diggle’s lantern in the arrowverse. I’m ecstatic for this show because I don’t think Green Lantern is a character that translates super well to a feature length solo movie, but with a full season and featuring two main lanterns (which in itself would have had me hooked), I think we’ll finally get to see Hal and John fleshed out and done the justice they deserve. 3 - Batman: the Brave and the Bold - I’m always here for more Batman, no matter how or why we get it. The thought of getting a faithful, fantastical Batman portrayal without having to wait a decade to bring in the bat family is just heaven to me. However, I am doubtful just because of the fact that, with Superman being so young and yet Bruce having Damian as his current Robin, it means there will either be a significant age gap between the worlds finest (not ideal), or we’re gonna be skipping at least one Robin (I can’t stress how much I hate that option). I do also see the possibility of people getting fatigued of Batman with Pattinson’s trilogy running alongside the DCU. Side note - Jensen Ackles is one of my favourite actors on the planet, but the man is not Bruce Wayne. His Batman voice isn’t really all that, and he definitely doesn’t have the look (much less will he have it in 10 years). Id much rather get an unknown actor like Corensweat for the headliners, just to dispel any previous biases and stigmas that come with well known stars. 4 - Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow - Honestly this sounds great to me. Supergirl is such a brilliant character, but the idea of giving her s truly solo story where she won’t have to lean on Clark, possibly even being off-Earth, just gives me so much hope (see what I did there?). 5 - Booster Gold - I can’t even explain why I’m so excited for this. We all know Booster Gold doesn’t need a solo movie, let alone in the starting roster for a new universe, but the amount of pure joy and serotonin that flushed my body when it was announced is unmatched. I love the character, and think this just bode well for the tone of the universe to be more of a mixed, balanced bag rather than pure grit or pure comedy. 6 - Swamp Thing - I can’t say Swamp Thing is my favourite character out there, but I do enjoy him. To be honest, I’m more interested in the horror aspect of the film, and the potential of setting the stage for Justice League Dark and especially John Constantine (please god not Keanu, I’m sorry but that character was not John Constantine) 7 - Paradise Lost - This one’s kind of up in the air to me. I’m interested, but not all that invested. Wonder Woman is a great character, but she’s always been the weakest of the trinity. The Amazons are great and all, but I’m not too well-versed in their history, and always took more interest in the Greek Gods aspect of Wonder Woman’s history. 8 - The Authority - To be honest, I’d only heard of some of these characters in passing, so I am open to a pleasant surprise. However, coming off of the Boys, Invincible, and too many multiverse stories to count, I’m honestly just sick of “definitely not the Justice League/Avengers” teams, and don’t see this as much different. 9 - Waller - This just seems a bit boring to me. Waller is cool, but definitely not a protagonist (much like Nick Fury, cough cough). I’d imagine this “Waller” show will rely heavily on characters we already know from Peacemaker rather than Waller carrying the show on her own back. Also, I’d be lying if I said it didn’t rub me wrong how Gunn hand picked his own creations as the ones to stay in the new universe, which has admittedly soured my opinion on this project (I enjoyed Peacemaker, but it doesn’t need a second season). I still wish we could just get a hard reboot. 10 - Creature Commandoes - If there’s anything worse than knock offs of A-list superhero teams like the JLA, it’s knock offs of C-list superhero teams like the Suicide Squad… I honestly just don’t really care about this one. I’ll watch it, and I’m sure James Gunn will make it fun, but I’m hardly on the edge of my seat.

The Authority. - The potential for Lanterns is endless. Green Lantern TAS provided just a whiff of what could be. Sinestro's fall doesn't even need to happen until S3. Given James Gunn's Guardians 3, imagine the treatment of Dex-Starr. - Gunn's dream project. The Rocket sequences from Guardians 3 and the tone of Brightburn makes for a delicious possibility. - Mangold with a quality script. - I wish Gal Gadot's debut dealt with the Greek Pantheon, followed by Jenkins' WW as the second film. The Wonder Woman animated film. - James Gunn got a ton from Viola Davis. - Blank expectations. - Not a whiff of knowledge. I'd like a surprise. - I loved Sasha Calle, but she was in an odd narrative. The showrunner could raise my interest. - Since 2012: Bale, Mazouz, Affleck, Glen, Pattison. I'm thankful for the quality of Bale and Pattison, but the sheer number of Bruce Waynes dilute the brand. A 6th live action Batman is tough to swallow. If was a Nightwing/Robin project, I'm in. Matt Reeves has my full attention and I'm jacked for Penguin and Part II.

10. Waller- not a character I’m interested in and not a big enough character to give a show to. 9. Paradise Lost sounds interesting in concept but no hype for me really. 8. Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow- It could be cool but I will keep a open mind. 7. Swamp Thing I don’t know much about the character could be cool. 6. Creature Commados sounds like a great concept and I am looking forward to the show. 5. Booster Gold- I am looking forward to see how it balances the comedy and action and a character study of the character. 4 The Authority- A dark justice league type team has my interests. 3 Lanterns I liked the animated show back in the day so I am hoping to see a great adaptation of Hal Jordan. 2 Superman Legacy has my interest I want to see how Gunn tackles Superman in a new and different tone. 1. Batman Brave and The Bold I am pretty hyped about this I can’t wait to see Batman and Robin on the big screen after a long time and I want to see batman more comic booky and fantastical.

After your comments on the new wonder woman video, you've bumped up my excitement of the Themesicara show. If the show was more DC 3000, ie the DC universe around some 5000 years ago or so then that could be real interesting. The DC's version of the Greek gods, Hercules, Hawkman and Hawkgirl, the Wizard Shazam, Fate, Black Adam, Atlan, the GL from then, as you said, and then there's the Specter, and villains that they can introduce, like Vandal Savage. So if the show includes the Amazon's interaction with the ancient world, then that does boost my interest as in all, I think its the DC Universe in and of itself that I enjoy most about DC, the emersion. Superman's inclusion of a potential Bruce Timm-verse inspired Justice League has piqued my interest there, and the casting has piqued my interest, too. When I heard the Lanterns show, I too went to New Frontier's plotline/villain, and as you mentioned in the vid, Superman Legacy might be an inverse of the Kingdom Come story (using the Authority potentially as stand-ins for the other Kingdom characters) so far Gods and Monsters might, and speculation, might be a merging of some of New Frontier, Kingdom Come, + All Star Superman and Brave and the Bold woven in. Not that bad of a pitch. Early on in the Gunn-verse there were talks how Waller might become a major player in the storyline, even setting her up as sort of the big bad of franchise. She could function to something akin to how Maxwell Lord functioned in the Brother Eye storyline, ie a sort of catalyst for the Infinite Crisis storyline. Likewise, she could catapult the storyline towards whatever their Endgame level story will be.

If they wanted they could make green lanterns the star wars of the DC movies, but with a show the budget is less per episode, which means they cant really want use their power to the full potential and have it look good, and they also need him on earth for the same reason. And for supergirl the story the movie is based on would fit much better as a show

1) Lanterns- Batman is my favorite but Green Lantern (specifically John Stewart) is my 5th favorite Superhero(s) and they've really not been given the screentime they deserve because of how bad the last movie performed so it's about time they get some attention 2) Swamp Thing- I love Swamp Thing and horror is my favorite genre 3) Batman- it's Batman 4) Booster Gold- I think this has a bunch of potential to be really funny 5) Superman Legacy- not the biggest Superman fan but very excited to see Hawkgirl 6) The Authority- just barely started the book and they're really interesting so far 7) Supergirl- just like Superman not a character I care a bunch about 8) Paradise Lost- just don't know enough about it 9) Creature Commandos- I really enjoyed the animated short a few years or so ago and it could be a lot of fun 10) Waller- just not really excited for this one at all to be honest maybe once more is revealed I will be

I don't do rankings but I am really excited for the new Superman. I liked DCEU take on Superman but it was still missing something. And it needs to do really good to kickstart new DCU. From what I already know about it (casting, inspiration in comic books etc) and from that fact it is written and directed by Gunn itself ( all his previous movies and shows for DC and Marvel were really good) I am pretty sure it will be good. Little worried about movie being too overcrowded and taking spotlight from Superman itself. I am also excited to see Batman Brave and the Bold and Swamp Thing (as Boba said, HBO show was fantastic). Frankly, don't know much about Authority so it can only surprise me in the good way. Booster Gold, Lanterns and Supergirl are something in the bottom half. And projects that I am least excited would be Waller and Paradise Lost. Creature Commandos as the only animated show sounds good but I don't think it will get much of audience or attention (even if premise of the supernatural squad sounds interesting).

1. The Authority - It seems like James Gunn does well with a group of characters like this. And I love the premise of dark heroes that do whatever to save the day. I will always put a dark movie or a lighter movie. 2. Paradise Lost - Game of Thrones is my favorite show, mostly the first 4 seasons, but I love more medieval type of shows, movies, and books over everything. So, strictly based on that, I am excited. 3. Swamp Thing - Loved the TV show version of it. Like that it might lean with an R rating. And love that James Mangold will direct it. Dark stories will always be my preference over lighter/funnier stories. 4. Lanterns - Love True Detective, mostly only the first season, and if it's getting compared to that then I am 1000% locked in. Never watched a Green Lantern project or read up about them. But, I am extremely intrigued. And TV Series > Movies. 5. Supergirl - I'm slightly more excited about the Supergirl movie given her description. She has more conflicting viewpoint of the world than Clark. 6. Superman - I've never been a huge Superman fan. It will probably be hard to make me be head over heels over a superman movie. Love the show (Superman & Lois) , but I love violence and a conflicting hero. 7. Batman - The Batman already being established as an elite franchise hurts my excitement for this movie / iteration of batman. Still very interested in it, but not about some of the other projects 8.Booster Gold - Unfamiliar with this character, but it will probably be funny. Comedic type of movies and shows will always be ranked slightly lower than dramatic projects 9. Waller - It's interesting. Don't really find the Waller character interesting. Love Viola as her though. 10. Creature Commandoes - It's mostly because it's animated. Not really interested in animation (outside of the SpiderVerse movies)

im looking forward to brave and the bold the most because as you say about the fantastical element, its what I feel has been missing in the batman films ! we sort of were on the right track with ben afflecks batman being in a world with aliens and gods etc but nevermind about that.... lets just move on??? the Robert Pattinson batman film is great but its not tied to anything and therefor feels out of place ? not that a film has to be connected to the large universe to be good buuuut.... you know what I mean ? but yeah I think brave and the bold will be good I don't doubt James gunn with that project but superman legacy Im sort of worried about...theres a lot riding on that to be really really good so it might not deliver ??? lets hope it does though !!!

The ending of Peacemaker probably happened with Peacemaker carrying Emilia Harcourt. I'm sure that, and everything leading to that scene transpired as we see it, then 1 of 2 things happened. 1.) Peacemaker looks up and sees nothing and just continues walking until he gets to a hospital where help is rendered for Harcourt. Boring I know, very possible but boring. 2.) Peacemaker, while carrying Emilia Harcourt looks up and sees David Cornswet's Superman. Peacemaker: Your late. David Cornswet Superman: Sorry, I was tracking some Gorillas in Kaznia, Corbin's at it again. Peacemaker: How did you know about burning man? Oh the hearing thing. Dam- he must've picked a fight with you too. David Cornswet Superman just stares momentarily overcome by Peacemaker's earnest aloofness.
