OK its official, this has become my favorite fishing show on KZbin by far. One thing I wanted to share with you, Frank's makes a powder now, you may already know that, you just dust your fish good with it and roll in flour and ooh la la! Keeps you from having to marinade in the sauce, if you haven't tried it I highly recommend it. Keep em coming brother these vids are freaking awesome. I see the outdoor channel in your future,lol.

Just got home from a 14 hour Catfishing day with a good buddy. Literally just did everything you did before watching this. Cracked up out loud watching you eat piece after piece as I'm sitting here full of fried Catfish. Yours looked better though I had fresh lemon and dipped mine in Franks. I'm the same as Spence. I crave some good fried fish all the time. Just had some a couple days ago. And even though I just had dinner, I'm now craving some fish. Guess I'd better go pull some outta the freezer ( too cold/frozen out this time of year to go catch fresh, I don't ice fish) and get it thawed. It'll make for a nice midnight snack! 😋

I was playing around with some fillets a couple weeks ago and i took some coconut milk and added fresh garlic and chili flakes to it. Then dipped the fillets in that to get the breading to stick. it was fantastic.

Had a friend this past week caught a 35lb carp on a Berkley power worm while fishing a local night bass tournament lol thought he'd caught the biggest bass of his life didn't take long to figure it wasn't a bass, took 30 minutes to land him in the boat with 10lb mono, so much fun 😀 love your videos Spencer thanks

That was a very nice video. I don't think there's anything more fun to do than bobber fish current for Channel cats. It's been a few years since I've done it. But we would always dip big creek minnows and take them them to a couple honey holes in the Potomac and just have the time of our lives. Your channel brings back alot of good memories. Nice little spot for catfish, and good to have backup spots. I always bleed them when put on stringer, sometimes the blood stirs them up👍. Crappie good too. Check on amazon, can get 2 1gallon containers of zatarains fish Fri for like $14. Great just rinse filet, dredge and fry. 2 paper plates no dishes. Great video

It's almost what you made, I wet it with Texas Pete hot sauce and dredge to fryer, no dishes. Thought you would like it or tried in smaller bag? It's Cajun seasoned corn flour. I sit on hospital bed everyday don't like to leave dishes I can't clean. I should've said looks good, it's what gave me idea. 2 1gallon containers is too much lol. Gave 1 to friend who brings me fish lol.

never teyed bobber fishing always wondered how you set rhe depth for like a 6 ft deep spot and still cast it and also if the stop gets caught at the first eyelit. A lot of people down in Louisiana like to soak the fillets in pets milk and use just Louisiana fish fry for the batter... Pets milk takes almost all the fishy taste out of the fish I know that seems counter intuitive but saltwater fish have a very strong fish taste and it makes freshwater fish taste really good as well... I find that it’s easier to learn/teach someone to fillet a fish with a decent fillet board with the clamp on it. Trout are super easy to learn to fillet with. You’re going to make some fish nuggets, it’s a part of learning. Just try to not cut through the backbone and you’ll be fine.

serious question, Have you ever gotten really sick from eating fish that you caught under a bridge? That water looks pretty clear but just wondering how often.....

I eat fish every week or two in the warmer months. Haven't gotten sick yet.

My last attempt at using shad ended with me ripping my cast net almost in half that's my 2nd one this year from Walmart. At least I can always rely on Spencer to catch a channel cat.

Did you cook that bass up with the cats at the same time? If so how did that taste with the corn meal? I cook as you basically. Only I use French bread crumbs. I buy a couple of French breads and toast them and crumble them up then i use 4 eggs and a 1/4 Of a cup of milk mix (beat'm) Put a couple (20 squirts lol) of squirts (Louisiana hot sauce) into the mix and dip fish into mix roll the fish in the crumbs and fry in hot 1/2 inch grease 1 minute on each side and done. Fish meat cooks the fastest of all meats you know that. Anyways good video. I'll try your way this summer. Peace bro

I think I did, but it was long enough ago I can't remember for sure. I am definitely a fan of white bass though. Just gotta cut out that red meat. Glad ya enjoyed the video!

You soak Channel in milk to help remove the stank out of the meat, same thing if you use saltwater. DOTS Pretzels has a crumb for fish you should check out.

Walleye is one of the best tasting freshwater fish in my opinion I keep hearing that snakehead is really good but never catch one yet

Walleye is my favorite. If I ever get the chance to try snakehead, I'm definitely going to!
