I'm glad to see you actually put a scale on him. Not like another guy on KZbin. That constantly calls weights. IT'S a 30 pound fish. Actually, looks like a 15 pounder. Congratulations to you and the lady who caught that beautiful Flathead.

Hey there! I've been having some trouble with snagging due to all the weed where I fish. I'm also wondering about bait; do you think adding a float close to the hook on leader would help keep my cut bait suspended slightly above the bottom? What's your take on this?

Beautiful Ella. Best looking sweetest fishing sidekick on the internet. If she made a few more appearances on your show Spencer, you would be the sidekick.😂❤

I will never forget when I got carried away climbing down a mountain wall to fish in a deep pool in a narrow canyon of a river in Norhtern Italy. I was trying to fish down there for a while not catching any trout. Then I realized: It is nearly impossible to climb out of there. I had to throw the rod up several times so it was kept by some branches. I was hanging in the wall with my hands only and the feet were off the ground. It was a miracle that I got out of this situation unharmed. At then I realized many people were staring at me from a bridge: They expected disaster. I was young, courageful and dumb. One more time I got a bit into trouble like that. But in this mountain stream I could follow the water until I found a good way out. A friend who lives there told me that a guy had been missing for days. He was not a local guy so he had chosen a dangerous way down. They finally found him dead beside the stream. He had fallen to his death.

Super cool spot, as usual great video. All the rivers/streams around me are crystal clear pretty much year round, so i learned very quick to wear natural colored clothing and no crazy colored fishing rods. Also fc leader if using braid. Funny enough my largest muskie (52.25") came in clear waist deep water much like this spot. That's what's so great about fishing, you never really know what you'll get until you try.
