That livescope apparently is a tool I need to add to my arsenal. I'd say days of being skunked would be numbered. As usual a really well put together production sir

Yes, at this point you just keep moving until you find fish, and then it's figuring out what they want to eat!

I've used livescope since it came out for crappie in the south. My uncle lives in southern MN and we take a canadian trip every year. Last year we ended up in northern MN on a lake we had never seen. I had no trouble locating fish with Si/Di but the bite was tough. We finally put the jigs away and rigged up the bobbers and caught several fish on them. The entire time I was missing my LS. We caught 15 or so over 20 inches but I'm sure we could have tripled that with the LS. Since canada looks like a wash again this year you can bet the LS will be taking a trip to northern MN this August :-)

It really is incredible. I have fished side by side with friends who didn't have it(they do now) and we decided its somewhere in the 5-8x the number of fish caught. The biggest factor is being able to stay off the school and they don't spook as bad. I am guessing you see that with the Crappies. Good luck in August, We usually go to Canada that time of year too and are exploring alternatives in N. MN right now.

Wow I’m jealous. That garmin livescope looks like a lot of fun. Do you have to cruise around and use regular sonar first to know fish are in the area? Or are you fishing like a big flat that you know will have lots of pockets of fish?
@NetBuddyFishing3 жыл бұрын
I use side imaging and cruising around with Livescope to find them. I just filmed a side imaging video this week which shows how I look for fish, and will post in a few weeks.

Do you have the livesco transducer on the trolling motor?
@NetBuddyFishing3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I can fish and find fish faster with it there, as well as be ready to cast at all times. I would not personally recommend fishing it any other way.

What kind of mount do u run off electric for livescope?
@NetBuddyFishing3 жыл бұрын
I run it on the trolling motor, just the barrel mount that comes with it.

How come slip bobbering Instead of sticking with jigging or a drop shot rig with bait? I've never tired slip bobbering for walleyes
@NetBuddyFishing3 жыл бұрын
Another tool in the box. Their eyes are on top of their head, so presenting a bait above them can be the ticket some days, especially as we move into June and fish start to suspend even higher.
@ol25333 жыл бұрын
@@NetBuddyFishing ah interesting. Never tried bobbering for eyes. What's your top few methods to target walleyes?
@NetBuddyFishing3 жыл бұрын
@@ol2533 for sure Jigging is my favorite, but I’ve probably had some of my best days using bobbers. Check back in about 3 weeks I think we’ll have a video you’ll enjoy as long as the fish co-operate on all the ways we go after them.
