These interviews are great, the actors seem a lot more relaxed and willing to talk. Ralph didn't manage to escape his boyish good looks quite like J. He truly is a wonderful, humble person and is to this day. He's not only beautiful on the outside, he's just as beautiful on the inside. What a sweetheart. As an actor, I think he is highly underrated. I think he has wrung more tears out of me than any other actor. His performances in the Karate Kid movies was delightful and in the Outsiders, wow. I cried my eyes out. Fantastic.

I remember when The Karate Kid came out in June 84, (?) and it was different at the time - it was not your typical movie, and I really noticed that. I think it was around September or October 86, me and several family members went to see Karate Kid II in the theater, I was about to turn or had just turned, 25. I would have been 24 at the time of this interview, I like how she interviews without interrupting, or asking embarrassment questions, just straight up and normal - and considerate:)

Japanese culture is really fascinating similar to Korean and I'm partially Korean. History will teach young people so much languages are interesting to me also
