I remember going to see "Junior Bonner" at a local drive in with some family members when it was first released. Quite a change of pace for director Sam Peckinpah. Quiet, low key, enjoyable & underrated movie.

I saw him in musicals when I was kid and so I was flabbergasted to see him pop up in the film. He -- like all the other actors -- was amazing. His performance really added to Mr. McQueen's character presence.

Good question ! I doubt it. Steve was a very private person & rarely gave interviews.

@@jubalcalif9100 That he was. I’m always astounded how few interviews there are with him. I was just hoping maybe Bobbie got McQueen at some point during his career.
