Inside Andrew Jackson's Hermitage

This made me laugh! My grandfather took me to the Hermitage in 1976 when I was 10 years old. The docent, who was maybe 18 years old showed us Jackson's bedroom. She said, "... as you can see, he had a canopy over his bed." Grandpa, who always spoke too loud, said, "How 'bout that. He had a canopy over his bed, and I have a can o' pee under mine." That was my Grandpa.

Been to the Hermitage a few times. Always felt rushed through by the guides. Wish they would take the time to explain things like you guys do.
