Thank You, Thank You, Thank You !!!!! I tried to update my firmware and when I got done my gimbal turned upside down and just kept shaking... And, I mean Shaking !!! Your process fixed that problem 100% I now have a usable Gimbal... were as Yesterday I was about to throw it away and buy a different Gimbal.........

You have saved my HOURS in showing how to do the firmware upgrade. THANK YOU. Very rough way of doing it by the manufacturer.... instructions are terribly written. v1.4 seems a little more forgiving.

Thanks!! that works perfect! first of all install Tarot drivers to the computer so when you open com port, the usb programmer will blink in blue and thats necessary to update the firmware. If you have install the drivers recently, try to reboot the computer or put the usb programmer away and put in again. It works for me.

Hello, colleague, can you help me? The plate of my t-2d gimbal tarot, has the red light on, and no longer starts the movements of the engines. Before I would turn on, turn on a yellow led, then the blue led, and then the motors would start and normalize. I heard about corrupted firmware. Can you help me ?

First of all, Excellent information and help...Thank you. We just purchased and installed a Tarot T-2D. we are having an issue installing the firmware. The USB cable with an orange light lit, and plugged into the gimbal board "Drivers side"... we get a blank Com Port box on the software page. No blue light either. In the lower left corner it says Com Port open successfully, Please connect ZYX-BMGC!... it is connected. Are we missing a step? or do you think we have a bad cable?

+Kort Waddell Blank Com Port box means you didn't pick the correct Com port. The software will tell you "Com Port open successfully" but there won't be any communication. That's why you still see "Please connect ZYX-BMGC" text even when you already connected it. Please go to your device manager and get the list of com ports. There, you will see the correct comport next to "Prolific Driver". Then start the ZYX-BMGC and pick that com port you have just seen at the device manager Com Port list. Hit the "Open Com Port" and this time you should see the blue light on the dongle showing the communication. You may now connect the power to the gimbal and you should be done.

can you help me ? my Tarot ZYX configurator when I save to the flash nothing happens. Now, in the flash engine it records normal. Maybe that's why the led remains red at all times. Help me please ?

hi tnx for the video. is it also applicable to use in a plug n play gimbal? i bought mine at aliexpress but after 5 mins it tilt downward automatically.

I have a problem with the upgrade procedure. I was installing firmware 1.5 on my gimbal. I was able to install the controller firmware but the motor firmware doesn't seem to want to load onto the gimbal. Now I can't seem to get the software to recognize the gimbal anymore. Please help.

OK guys you got a REAL rookie here, am runninng Win8.1,have read somewhere that drivers for 8.0-8.1 are not available is that true, if so how do I get around this problem? thanks for any and all help

Great vid, thanks for posting. I'm having trouble finding the software to start with. I've searched RCGroups and can't seem to find anything other than an .rar download. I have no idea what to do with that. I found a software download on Helipal's site but still cant find the actual software application. Can you point me in the write direction to get started ? would greatly appreciate it !

can anyone help me please.my gimbals tilt isnt working right.when i tilt it down it just comes right back up and when i move it around it goes up and down on its own.when i have the usb connected it works perfect but as soon as i disconnect it it just starts acting up.i save the the flash everytime like im suppose to but that doesnt seem to work. could it be that my gains are all off or my controller isnt set right?anyone can help please contact me.

From the manual, this is what it says: 2. Upgraded content 1.Angle limit protection is removed 2.Accelerometer calibration function is added. 3.Accelerometer data display capabilitiy is added. (that is a direct copy ;) I upgraded to v1.4 because I was having so much trouble getting the gimbal to be smooth. Turns out, the FW had nothing to do with it. So...... if your wanting to calibrate the gimbal, 1.4 is a good upgrade.

+Christopher Rowley Hi Chris, I am having the same problem with my setup too. I found if you open the device manager on your computer and in the view tab select show hidden devices you should see the com port(s). if not plug the usb in at this time. Secondly if you are running win10 I don't think the software is compatable. If you are running 8.1 , look for driver 3.2.0 and install it in that port by selecting update driver. that worked for me. Now I am trying to figure out how to update the firmware, Im going to try the procedure from this vid.

You are saying one must read the instructions really clearly. Is it really what you did? Because you clearly missed a very critical step or you are doing something totally against the instructions. Instructions says "Do NOT click on [Open COM Port]". This is both for controller and motor firmware update. Yet you clicked on "Open COM port" for both. Yes, I know it worked for you and I cannot explain it. But I did the same update WITHOUT clicking on "Open COM Port" and mine worked just as well. So I suggest going with the instructions: No Opening COM Port during firmware update...
