He was so talented. I only recently realized what a good singer he was. Perfect timing, just a pleasure to listen to. I don't think he ever got the recognition he should have and deserved.

I absolutely loved him!! He sings with such ease and makes every song perfect. We lost one of our greatest entertainers way too soon. How I miss him. It's unfortunate that we don't have great performers like him anymore. Rest in peace Bobby.

Apart from the voice and delivery, which were perfection, he also had oodles of humour and wit. One of my regrets is never to have seen him perform live in a night club.

Wow ... no comments earlier than 3 years.. He was/is the GOAT! ok maybe below Frank and Sammy but still.. This is MUSIC and vocal. Big band and lead singer is the best. what the hell are we waiting for more great stuff? I 'm a father of three teenager and they LOVE it (not all the time..!)

Incredible performance. I had this in my favorites a while ago and then it got deleted from KZbin. So glad it is back. He starts out so quiet and relaxed and by the third chorus is totally swinging.

EXCELLENT. Bobby Darin was really cooking with a "K". He sure new how to swing a song, it was so effortless just second nature. When Bobby did a song or for that matter anything it was always to perfection, just had to be so, this is the pay off. I have both of these artists singing this but Bobby Darin's is the best version by far, pure magic.

He was like Perry Como but with more swing. Easy delivery with continuous build-up to the last note. He had more to give but time ran out on him. He made the most of the time he had.
@murph30015 жыл бұрын
I know your sincere and respectfull but he was in no way similar to Perry Como. BD was influenced in no small by Ray Charles __ by Muddy Waters by Frank ____ Perry Como heard no such influences ____

The AUTHORITY on (almost) every song he recorded/performed. Matt Monro, on some recordings they shared, was BD's only equal or better. But BD was and remains the greatest stage performer of all.

A little story I heard about Bobby Darin ... He wanted to record Mack The Knife, and no recording studio had any interest in it. So he recorded that song with all his own money, and would have taken a huge hit if the song tanked. But, of course, it didn't ...
