*Fischer makes chess look easy.* Masterclass in building, maintaining and capitalizing pressure. Also displays remarkable endgame technique highlighting the principle of "Do Not Hurry" from Shereshevsky's book Endgame Strategy. The game was in My 60 Memorable Games. #33 under the title the "Drawing Master"

Fischer was not only a strategic genius, but he was also a very good technician. This is a game that underlines this less appreciated quality in Fischer's game. Well done!

There is a beautiful fighting Karpov-Korchnoi draw in Open Spanish, where Karpov sacrifices his knight on move 12 and throws a kitchen sink at Korchnoi but Korchnoi defends successfully. Maybe you can do that one next @ChessDawg . Btw, thanks for the excellent content!

Fantastic video!!!! Very informative!!! I love it when Fischer plays seemingly very cautious looking move R-B2 @ 10:36 , its difference between mere mortal and a genius. It’s like Fischer has seen Kxp doesn’t quite work or at least not the most accurate move thus R-B2 way better. Just wonder how many moves as well as sub variations had Fischer calculated to see R-B2 is better than Kxp. Hence he’s the goat.

One could make a Course of the Ruy Lopez simply by going over Fischer's games in it.

Black entering the Ruy Lopez Open Riga variation is akin to juggling hot knives. Playing this defense against Fischer is either brave or foolish.
