@kantrzyn9 жыл бұрын
Park min because the kids are usually more clever than the adults :)
@kriptonis9 жыл бұрын
kantrzyn also, more genuine. You wouldn't see an adult say "oh I know it's Queen to H5 check" and then say "I don't know the next move" like you see in the video. He would just be quiet. And by not participating you don't learn as much as these kids do.
@Uffareal9 жыл бұрын
kantrzyn not in this case all were stumped the 1st tactic one should notice is the black kn ight on e8 cuts the communication between the black queen and the rook on f 8, the d7 pawn would not be able to capture on e6 if the white knight on d4 were to infiltrate on e6 this is how tatics are thought of one must understand the position and the nuances of it before any calculations are even thought of I noticed these things within 40 seconds yes I have been playing for 30 years and have beaten masters but these kids just are looking for moves without understanding there are very concrete positional clues here where tactical possibilities can arise from, being able to analyse a position is invaluable they can study all the openings and engames they want but if one cannot access a position correctly then none of that will be of any use as good opening play will be for naught and they will miss tactical opportunities and eventually the game

@@Uffareal First of all i'm an absolute beginner.I know the rules since childhood and started playing more than 3 Games a year a few weeks ago. So i probably don't know what i'm talking about. I still think you should teach them both. Understanding your position and knowing openings, certain moves and so on. To understand your position and have a sense what's going on right now with some mid- to longtime goal in mind is key to mastering chess. But learning certain moves and openings is in my opinion strengthening your game sense by a lot. Because you learn moves that are far beyond of what you would think of. And while playing it you are going to understand the thought processes behind it on your own which should result in strengthening gamesense etc. Correct me if i'm wrong please. I'd love to get some good tipps and learning methods to get better.

33:50 why not play queen f5 and if he moves his queen then checkmate on h7. Also when disputing Qf5 he says the pawn is already under attack. But, about QE4 he says "we're increasing the pressure on the bishop" then why arent you increasing the pressure on the pawn in the first move. Surely checkmate is very strong pressure. Am i missing something or what?

@kasdcomoa55673 жыл бұрын
I don't see why bxf7 looks good because black can recapture with king or rook, so you're just trading a bishop for a pawn..

It would be nice if I had someone during the game, who could ask me the right questions to give me a hint about what my best move is. It would be better if I could ask the right questions to find the best move for myself.

Great vid... The kids are sooo freaking annoying, my friends and I like to joke around that since parents don't want to pay for a babysitter, they just send them places where people will watch them and then come pick them up later lol... Can't fill a cup that's already full.
@Handles-R-Lame8 жыл бұрын
Honestly imo, if they were taught manners and not ignored. They for one have common sense, as well as patience. Inherently lazy, the parents are.
@resingbg7 жыл бұрын
I don't think so, because the parents will pay for the Chess Lessons from Akobian, or the Chess Club. And they also will lose a lot of time in traffic, as i imagine that Saint Louise is not a small city. If they hire a babysitter they only have to go back home, and not lose that much time in traveling.
