Fischer was an real genius...sadly he falling on his own "madness" and obsessions. The great gap for the chess world it was the undisputed match against Karpov. What a sad... Keep going & best regards

Fischer refused when he was still a child the help of another great chess player and psicologist : Reuben Fine. He ended saying about himself : "I am not a chess genius, I am a genius that occasionally played chess". He could have dedicated his intelligence to other things as well and I have the feeling that, when he was near the premature end if his life, he regretted not to have dedicated himself to something else but chess. I also think that in 1975 he hadn't been playing since three years and Karpov was incredibly strong. I am afraid he refused to play against Karpov because the russian had better chances to win.

I don't understand,what a crazy game,he basically destroyed him with just his pawns. The pawns made more moves than his pieces. The king on the seventh rank and four pieces on the eighth rank!!!! Haha!!! What an amazing attack by the one and only Bobby.

Ha,ha the king thought that castling kingside would disrupt the attack, and eventually was forced back to the kingside with all his pieces meekly under arrest on the 1st file without much use. Similar to Chucky vs Kasparov Linares 91’🫢
