It’s the truth, all these fighters and no one cares about anyone but the strikers still. Khamzat was the ish and blew up on the scene for knockouts and fist fighting. No one gives af about Islam, no one misses kabob. Merab is a one of one but no one really cares about him like that. Wrestling isn’t fighting. Izzy carried the sport with just the idea that he might highlight KO somebody. Connor built the sport we currently have with knockouts. Ronda grew the sport with savage finishes. No one cares about anyone from that kabob camp. The most exciting fighter they got is in PFL, the kid with the flying knee knockouts. He’s literally the only one that I actually want to watch. Wouldn't have made a difference in the khabib-conor fight. Conor was kneeing him on the ground and khabib was unfazed lol. Also khabib does a pretty good job of hiding his face when going for takedowns so he doesn't get kneed. He actually turns away and uses his shoulder to block.

@@loverofhumanity I never said anything about Connor or Khabib, but Khabib wasn’t untouchable. Someone would’ve been be able to land a knee to his head in the right circumstances. It’s a fight, anything can happen. But the real change would have been Khabib being able to land knees to his opponent whilst wrestling, thus making it a more entertaining fight. Same goes for all fighters.

@@loverofhumanity also Connors knees on the ground wasn’t done from an advantageous position, meaning he struggled to hit through his opponent, which is how you do damage. It was more of a weight shift, by doing a kneeing motion his upper body will follow and it’s possible to get off your back, you risk your opponent taking your back but if you are on your back and they are controlling your upper body it’s better than doing nothing I guess.
