It's actually wild how much shit Conor just openly exposed. I completely forgot he just blatantly called out Khabib for taking money from a warlord then acting all humble and shit lmao
@racoonfrenzy36177 ай бұрын
Conor was accusing khabib of taking money from a Russian oligarch (not a war lord) called Ziyavudin Magomedov, who ended up getting put in jail by Putin. Putin frequently pulls this type of thing to purge the possibility of anyone gaining oppositional power. Macgregor was asking khabib why he’s staying quiet about this and not saying anything to Putin about this, when khabib is supposed to be so much about principles and morals and not money. It’s purported that khabib did take 20 million $ worth of land gifted by Putin after he won the belt. So in that case, yeah he took money from a homicidal dictator, but I’m not sure that that was what mcgregor was talking about. Later though, mcgregor also doesn’t turn down a visit with putin. So all these fuks are hypocrites. Tomato tomahto i guess🤷🏻♂️.

Here is my take guys. Im danish and have befriended many from the russian and chechen community. To be short, chechens and generally people from the North Caucasus are the most hardened, brave and disciplined people I have ever met. They are extremely loyal, very religious and kind of old fashion in a warrior way. Even the russians who are tough people knows not to mess with caucasians like chechens and dagestanis. So to scare a chechen you really have to be an insane psychopath with a lot of power. Kadyrov is despised by most chechens and seen as a traitor and corrupt man. However no one dares to publicly voice their opinion out of fear since Kadyrov have shown to be very brutal about insults. Many chechens in Western European countries have been assasinated just for speaking up and he is not afraid to go after family members also. Im 90% sure that deep inside Khamzat despises Kadyrov but out of fear for his familys safety he caters to pressure. Remember guys, Russia is very different than the West. You don just critisize leaders like Putin or Kadyrov and get away with it
@khyber__6 ай бұрын
Couldn't have said it better, kadyrov is a rat who licks Russian boots and by proxy many of the chechen diaspora despise him. But at the end of the day there is very little anyone can do when assassination is a very real threat.

I am a Chechen, I will try to briefly bring those interested up to date, after the second war in Chechnya, Kadyrov's father, who headed Chechnya, sold himself to the Kremlin and signed a truce with Russia on the Kremlin's terms, then the Kremlin undermined him using him as a pawn, then a couple of days later his son Ramzan was brought to the Kremlin and made head of the region where there was famine and darkness, I remind the Chechens a million before the two Chechen wars, 700 thousand remained after Ramzan became the head of the destroyed region in which the guerrilla war with the Kremlin forces still continued, Kadyrov killed Chechen rebels in order to please the Kremlin, civilians also disappeared throughout the republic, many people were in despair, many people immigrated, today the political views of Chechens in no way they do not differ from their views, which were two thousand years old, during the first war, when the genocide took place, the Chechens hoped for the help of the West, realizing that the civilized world wanted to shit on their lives and the lawlessness of Russia, Chechens trusted only in God, the Chechens won the first war with difficulty, We hoped that the worst was over, it is important to note that Russian troops have always got rid of the real leaders of the Chechen people, such as Dudaev Maskhadov and Yandorbiev. The second campaign began due to the fact that in one of the villages of Dagestan, people turned against the Russian regime and declared independence, to which the Kremlin without hesitation began shelling civilians from artelleria, a detachment of one detachment independent of the Chechen army moved there to help Dagestanis, as a result, Russia declared that Chechnya had invaded Russian territory and she announced the beginning of the second war, let's return to Kadyrov, torturing the population for their thoughtlessness and administrative offenses, kidnapping not only relatives, but distant relatives of people he disliked, he established an order in Chechnya in which, even knowing and understanding all the horror and dictatorship, they can do nothing about it, an ordinary Chechen family is 150 people because in our culture, we strongly support relationships even between the most distant relatives, this is this is a problem, since no Chechen, even when abroad, wants to bring inconvenience and trouble to his distant relatives or relatives of his wife, and incidents of this kind pop up regularly as Kadyrovites torture and kill innocent people, in general, people in Chechnya hate the regime and Kadyrov, he is considered a clown and an idiot, it seems that Putin found the dumbest Chechen in the world to put him at the helm in the region so that outsiders would have the impression that all Chechens look like this Aladin from the dictator movie, Chechens have always hated the Kremlin, his regime and Russia as a whole, nothing but death, degradation and debauchery Russia did not bring to the Caucasus, and if it seems to you that I say populism, look at the history of the region and what Russia did there, I do not know a single Chechen who would not have lost relatives during the wars and purges, and we are not talking about the military, but about the killed civilians, I can quite understand Chimaev, his whole family, except for his closest relatives, is still in Chechnya, and it would be very risky for him not to agree to "friendship" with Ramzan, but no matter how many Chechens hate him for this friendship, by the way, when Chimaev lived in Sweden, he had a reputation for being very radical with regard to the current human regime, and in general, he considered Russia an aggressor and a murderer, and if someone is generally interested in looking at a true free Chechen, Google the surname Dudaev on KZbin, thank you for your attention

wtf are you saying? chechnya was already unstable when russia invaded, many warlords was fiighting for power and the chechen leaders at that time wanted to create Islamic State and was also terrorizing its own people. Not all chechens was against a russian rule, many chechen clans fought alongside the russians in the first and the second chechen wars. Many chechens until this day realize despite the atrocitities of the war, russia brought stabilitiy into the region. Ramzans father was assasinated by terrorists and therefore Ramzan went after them that wanted to bring chaos to the society.
