One of the best groups of the of fifties. I loved their music and still listen to it. I am happy I grew up then, we had great groups, songs and music. Things were just awesome back then. Too bad it couldn't have stayed that way.

Imagine what this music scene would have been like today if Alan Freed hadn't started playing Moonglows and other R&B records in Cleveland in 1953. Although over 200 DJs were accused of taking bribes to play records, Freed basically took the brunt of the Payola scandal in 1959 which practically killed his career. I always believed they punished him for introducing white teenagers to What became known as rock and roll.
