Bobby's World (SNES) - Longplay

Apparently, in addition to the unreleased SNES and Game Boy games, there was going to be a Sega Genesis game based on Bobby's World, titled "It's Bobby's World". Like the SNES and Game Boy games, it ended up cancelled due to Hi-Tech Entertainment going out of business. However, unlike the SNES and Game Boy games, it did not receive a ROM. It's only known evidence is a picture of the game's box art. While the Game Boy version was a retooled version of an unreleased Home Alone game called Home Alone 2: Kevin's Dream (likely because THQ wanted to focus on a game based on Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, the actual sequel to Home Alone), the SNES version (featured in this video) was an original platformer. Would the Genesis game have been a port of the SNES game modified to fit the Genesis' hardware, or would it have been a completely different game altogether? We may never know.

That is a lie! The SNES version was released in 1995! I remember renting this game back in the 90s.

I think the programmer needs to dump the Genesis version. I believe I guessed Fred Porter used the GEMS driver (which was originally created back in 1991 by Recreational Brainware, Technopop and Sega)

The sound in this game could have been WAY better. Instead of the off-pitch title screen, they could've used samples from the cartoon. Assuming this is an unreleased game, It looks to be finished.

This is a finished game, but the audio in this particular playthrough is really weird, some instruments won't play in some parts for some reason. The soundtrack is actually really good.

@merkurii x stellrr The reason the game went unreleased was because the company that was set to publish it, Hi-Tech Expressions, went out of business before it could be released.

Huh...well this seems like a fair video game sense this was made by hi tech Sense they did some godawful games like mega man for DOS and Tom and jerry for genesis and snes

Actually, Hi Tech is the publisher. The developer is Riedel Software Productions, better known as Running with Scissors. Yeah, the Postal devs.
