This had such a huge effect on me growing up, where I did,how I did. I sang it to myself some nights as a kid just to keep the light near, finding comfort that maybe it was just the rain, that the sun would surely shine. Somehow this was the thing that gave me hope. Im not even being hyperbolic when I say I might not have survived it, people to this day ask me how I did. And still everytime I feel a little bit hopeless, this is the song my heart sings. I haven't heard it outside of my own head for over a decade. Hearing it today made me bawl my eyes out. It reminds me of all the times it helped me to breathe, let go and move forward. Seriously, thank you from the bottom of my heart. For me, it was like you were heaven sent. ❤❤

Omg! Love it! I need you all to come to AZ! I was in a bad relationship for 6yrs n this song has always stuck w me!`I have 3 beautiful interracial daughters who have been through the most! They lived in ND MN to AZ. There father passed away at 42 from a major heart attack where he didn't smoke drink or do drugs... his downfall was that he was medically overdosed! I brought my 6yr old twins n my 4yr old go see him before he was cremated because I felt at there age it was real!! Well there father was a donor n all they could say to me is mom where's his legs as he's on a stretcher with a white sheet over him. This was 2011 n we are now in 2023! His twin daughters have graduated high school where one has a full scholarship to ASU n the other took a trip to Italy for culinary...but we can't forget about the baby who's gonna be a Jr this year!!! She has played soccer for the past 10yrs n put into positions she was not trained in....but if anything she takes balls to her face, chest, legs n commits to making sure no team scores on her! Real single mom life sucks but reality of it all is amazing
