Such fond memories. I used to watch All That with my son, every Saturday evening. He was 10.I remember when this song came on, he wasn’t impressed and I was thrilled. Lol. This was real music. No auto tune, no half naked backup dancers, just genuine talent. My son is now 36 and he grew up listening to music from the 60’s,70’s, 80’s and 90’s. He always tells me he’s so glad I exposed him to all this music.

I was 6 when this performance happened. I was a huugge fan of All that and Dru Hill. Kids have been listening to adult music since forever. The appreciation comes from knowing good talent even when you don't have the verbiage to express it. Also, this music resonated with us because our parents/caregivers and siblings kept these songs on repeat. S/N: DID yall not see the little black girls off to the side losing their mind?
