+@@Hook2Cook To each his own, I guess. Part of the enjoyment of fishing comes from figuring out what to use and experimenting, not just being spoon fed. Keep in mind, KZbin is a huge platform.
@Hook2Cook5 жыл бұрын
Philet-o-phish I get it, but good baits will be found out sooner or later. People still need to do research to find out. We just see things a little differently. Also this is KZbin. He played it up and so did I. We did three videos using the the bait without revealing it. It was mutual to release. Bobby is actually excited to hear about people using it successfully. I’d much rather be a part of people reducing frustration and having success than to keep that to myself. If Bobby didn’t want to share, he knew I wouldn’t film. I honor that. My tips on fishing perch is keep all the fish alive by putting fresh water in the bucket because you're only allowed ten as your limit and if you're catching more than your limit you can always put the smaller size back to the water and keep all the big ones in the bucket.

@@Hook2Cook yea that was me. I retracted the comment because the video ended up telling me the info I needed, but yea, those amazon review ads are working lol. And I only ask about the bleeding because I know some fish taste better when you bleed them immediatley. Do you think stress hormones affect taste?
@Hook2Cook5 жыл бұрын
Hayyrryy maybe, a video made a great case that stress hormones from being caught start to leech into the meat. That being said, if they are dispatched quickly once we decide to keep the fish, it might make a difference. But the difference and might not be detected in a taste test, but it might keep a little longer in the fridge if it’s bled out

Curious what the big difference would be with the bait holder hooks with the hole bent 45° forward vs the worm hooks with the straight hole? Bobby mentions preferring the straight but then seems to brush off the difference. Do you sense it affects action a lot? Has he tried both and the straight just catch more for some reason with this setup for perch? The #2 hooks I have right now are bait holder type with the bent hole and my straight worm hooks are 1/0. Worried 1/0 might be too big for perch....
