Good to see you back 😎 I agree about the first 50 years a very underwhelming release it doesn’t do the first ten years any justice as that had such a chic photo shoot for the time . The 50 years cover has to be one of my least favourite shots of ABBA it’s very dated . Something from voyage would have been nice maybe with the original 82 cover used also as it has never been used apart from that 82 compilation and it’s such a great photo of the band .

just listened to the new BAO and i wonder if the two mentioned songs possible for Voyage are on here... the notion came when i heard "Som en sprucken mandolin" and "Sa länge det finns liv, finns det hopp", i can hear Frida and Agnetha on leadvocals respectively.. maybe it was Lagt kort ligger....

It seems that Benny,Bjorn and Frida are extroverts and Agnetha is an introvert. They are always in public but Agnetha seems to love her privacy. If they would release some of the finished songs of their deleted songs, people would be so happy. And includes "Just Like That"!

Welcome back BB, we missed you! Re Abba The First 50 Years.. yawn.. I’ll buy it buying all things Abba but disappointed nothing we don’t already have. Living in Australia where ‘On & On & On’ peaked at 9 on charts, I would’ve put that on compilation & left ‘Little Things’ off.. Maybe there will be a local version like they did with Abba Gold. In Australia, ‘I’ve Been Waiting For You’ even peaked at No 49. An Alternate mixes cd would be great. So many extended, edited, demo versions of their songs I’ve heard would be great & finish it off with ‘Just Like That’.. That’s my dream anyway.. Missed you BB, great to see u back. But I have a question: does the audio played in the show correspond to the studio versions of the songs or is the audio used that the group members reinterpreted at the time when they were being motion captured? Nice to have you back, BB! Like you, I have very little enthusiasm over the new comp. In fact, I feel this is very much for completists only. There are folks who would want to buy it just for the sake of owning it. All the more power to them but I rather skip it. Up until now, my quest was to actually get a copy of “The Singles - The First Ten Years” since I didn’t have one…to my surprise, my housemate was holding on to an extra copy he found on a garage sale, and gave it to me. To hear this album, see the progression from the beginning to the end of their initial run, is truly fantastic. I guess I’ll give that to the new compilation: it rounds the story a bit more, even with “No Doubt About It” as the final track and its message of longevity…just like ABBA’s story, “this isn’t where it ends”.

Nice to see you back. I'll be interested in hearing a bit more from you about how the new ABBA compilation "doesn't excite you in any way" . I think it's a major let down after so many teases and hints over the past couple of years (the planned release for the anniversary "will not be a re-release" - Bjorn!) and it's a deeply disappointing album for the 50th anniversary. You can't have missed the many negative views aired by fans online. What happened? The thinking is that Benny vetoed more exciting plans. Was this forever or have they delayed this for another occasion?

Hey! Some of us were a little worried about your absence so hello and welcome back BBs! About Frida I want to say that when she says "I'm so touched", and her voice is almost to break and cry, that makes me so emotional! In this time I have seen all the things you compilled in this video and I realized that little thing Bjorn said in the radio interview, and that made me want to review the comments some of they made for the press after the receiving of the royal order. Frida says something like "I shouldn't say it but it's like a good closing". And then she talks about the progressive music movement in the 70s and how that movement was against them (ABBA). I loved her (more!) when she says "I thought would be funny for some of them to be here today and receive an award. 😆

Welcome back Bobby's Brother. In 1988 in the UK, a vhs tape called ABBA -More video hits was released featuring a blue cover and a The Album inner sleeve picture on the front. It contains the video to Twist in the dark and also other Frida, ABBA and Agnetha videos including Can't shake loose. Volume one was purely ABBA videos. Benny's new BAO Orkester cd came with a very limited edition (signed by Benny) card from a well known Swedish music store. for initial orders. A nice touch.

Yes that VHS you are refering i got this.Bought it from London in '89 (must have been around Easter's time) from HMV!That was the first time i saw TITD.
