Just wanted to say thank you Bobby! I've been binging the channel for a minute now, and I've decided to begin my journey to having the same hobby and skills as you! I've gotten myself a job at my local Zales, and I'm gonna do my hardest to get myself into the industry and maybe one day I'll be making my own custom pendants and rings as beautiful as your pieces! Keep at it man! You're an inspiration!

The solder joints at 2:34 have such big gaps and they don't close during the soldering sequence in the video. Did you end up adding in thin strips of extra gold in there to close them or just fill it up with a lot of solder? Same at 3:02. So confused as to how that works. The result is amazing tho, as always!

Сool video. I don’t really understand why the ring was not made on a 3D printer? and the top part on a 3d printer? Is it somehow related to logic or is it just for a beautiful shot?

@@oscarj7443 Do you mean in terms of video content? On the video, hand-made jewelry looks more interesting, here I agree. We also make videos where products are made by hand. But there are things that will take a year to manufacture by hand. Soon we will have a project of a 1:1 Coca-Cola can full of rubies. And to do this by hand, we would have grown old by the time we finished it.

I just spent the last year and a half learning CAD for laser engraving and 3D printing to up my jewelry making offerings. I see you have done the same! Technology is the future! Sawing and piercing out that Gumball 3000 logo would be time consuming, although your steady hands could probably get it done in one go. Still that fiber laser can do it in just a few minuets. We can't beat that. Amazing!

Hi Bobby, what’s the name of that resin you used here?
@leighthomas69912 жыл бұрын
Russel I was wondering that myself. Done some research. There’s a system called HyCeram but only seems to be available from RioGrande in the US, they have some demo videos on you tube, looks good but the kit is very expensive £6k or so. Cooksonsgold do COLORIT resins which look to be the same colours Bobby uses here. Much more affordable £55 for a 5g pot presumable you need the uv lights as well to cure it. Hope that helps, let me know if you’ve found anything. Cheers Leigh

That is a sick 🤢 ring 💍! The pink enamel represents that bubble gum. My favorite part is the gumball 3000 text over the sapphires! My favorite part should be the lazer engraved text of my beloved city Toronto, but the setting of the sapphires under the text stood out more to me!
