Thanks!!! Great video. I had no clue there is a filter behind the seat. I'll have to check that out on my 2018 T770. I've had to pressure wash my condenser out before. It was just stuffed with dust and mud. Thanks again!!!

Great video, thank you for doing. I have a 2016 T770 which was blowing cold AC, then stopped. Followed your guidance, cleaned everything and dd recharge a little. Back to cold. It didn't last long. Now winter is here and trying to get heat, but no heat. Any additional guidance you could share would be greatly appreciated my friend. Thank you in advance.

Where is AC/Heater blower motor located? Thanks for the location of that behind the seat heater, at one time I thought it was just behind the head-rest, not on the floor for crying out loud. Why would they put that thing down there where all the dust is going to collect and hard to change? Put the return right above your head so you can check it daily. It's like putting the speakers down by your knees where you can't hear them.

I evacuated the system and put two lbs in and I get the two blink code, open clutch or over current. My machine is in Ellijay ga , so going back up on Thursday and try to find fuse panel and relay to jump out. I live in Gwinnett , I think you used to live in Georgia. Thanks for videos again.

@@kenbutera3530 I lived in Gwinnett as well. Check the switch in the cab, majority of the time the switch is bad with the 2 blink open code. It can still light up but not make contact to engage compressor. I've also seen pushed back pins in the connectors at the compressor, unplug and check pins. Hopefully it's not the compressor clutch,

@@tetradgroup I tested switch and jumped connector out with paper clip and no clutch , I removed connector from compressor and skinned wire and jumped a hot lead to connector and plugged back in. Ice cold air and clutch is engaged. Moved relays around, but getting two blink code. Thanks for the help, Kenny

I have had issues with condensor freezing up on my 2016 T650, and replaced all filters and still having issues, and think it is low on refrigerant. Now having issues with headlights blowing 20A fuse and giving M4803 code, which is front relay light off. I read somewhere that same code can also be tied to low refrigerant is that possible lights and the AC issue are connected? Thanks for all the great videos.

That would be the evaporator. The temperature sensor is bad or the evaporator is clogged. Lights and A/C should be on a different circuit. If it's freezing, the charge is good. Never add refrigerant on a sealed system.

It could be from low freon, jump the pressure switch and see it it will engage the clutch.

Working on a t650. Put a new compressor on. Fuse and relay are both good. But I can't get the compressor to kick on even when I try to send power down the line with a power probe. Any idea what might be interrupting power between the switch and the compressor besides possibly a bad wire?

Edit: I have found that I don't have power coming to my pressure switch. Not sure why since my fuse and relay are good and the on off switch is receiving and sending power but that is progress so far

Really depends on conditions, Bobcat does not have a set maintenance schedule for the cabin air filters. Some machines I change every 250 and others every 500. I wouldn't go more than 500 myself.

Is this the same a/c system in an M2 machine, such as let's say, a 2019 T595? Filters in the same spots, ac controller the same?

Im not sure on that machine, the 773 G is probably a 2000 or 2001 and I cant remember who bobcat used for HVAC at that time but I will try to find out for you.

I have an m series t870 it seems like the temp control is either cold or hot no in between. I saw someone else with this issue any advice on this issue?

Hard to say without some testing. It could be the blend switch or the blend motor which allows hot coolant to flow thru the core to warm the temperature based on position. I would start with the switch myself, more common than the blend motor.

My compressor tore the belt. What is the process for replacing the compressor as part of the belt is stuck in the pulley. It’s a T650.

I would try to remove the clutch and clean the belt material from the compressor before I replaced but if its damaged it would be like any other compressor replacement, evacuate the system, change the compressor, add necessary oil, pull vacuum, and charge with 2.2 pounds.

What happens if your AC compressor is not clicking on, is that a fuse or is that just low on Freon?

G'day, this is a long shot but i hoping you may have seen this as i cant seem to find the issue and it has my dealer stumped, i have a 2018 t870 with a kubota engine, its blowing heater cores, i have tried 3 different cores, 1 was pressure tested before putting it in and it still failed, machine doesnt get hot, doesn't use coolant, ive done a combustion leak test and all good. Im at a bit of a lose to know whats going on. Thanks

Never seen a 2018 with a Kubota engine. Have you ran the machine with a pressure gauge on the radiator. I seriously doubt the system is building enough pressure to blow a heater core. Do you have pictures of the failed cores?

No i haven't pressure tested the cooling system yet, but im the same, the cap should let out the pressure or a hose should let go before the heater core. I do have photos, ill try to send them, its blowing the copper tube outwards. Thanks for your help

Hi I have a 2014 bobcat s650. Just got my ac recharged and it’s still blowing hot air. Light is dim on the ac switch but mechanics said the compressor is coming on. I don’t see any light on the thermostat. Could this be the reason it’s not working

If compressor is on then everything is satisfied electrically and should be blowing cold. Could be an airflow issue or faulty heater valve allowing hot coolant to flow thru heater core.
