I had this exact same problem for 9 months. Dealer had no idea what it was. Looked for info in forums with no luch. Found this video and totally new that was the problem. I opened it up and took out that piece of metal and now it runs perfect! Thanks for sharing

You just fixed my 2019 bobcat t650. I was having the same problems as the one you were explaining from your phone. Unit would struggle to operate arm functions for the first time after start, but as long as you didnt open the door, lift of the safety bar or shut off the machine it would work flawless. As soon as you did one of the previous three, you would need to 'walk" it out with high idle and then it would unlock. Thank you sir.

thank you so much for your channel. You do a great job detailing issues. I had the same issue after my guys broke a line off an implement. Afterwards the machine was sluggish to release the hydraulics after cranking it. I removed the line and actually found a small bit of debris, likely dust turned to mud after the broken line. Cleaned it out and immediately started to work.

I have T190 that just gave a Hyd Charge Pressure On Shut Down error and the machine shut down. I checked the main pump belt, it is terribly loose so I will tighten that. Would this item cause the charge pressure on shut down notice on the screen? I thought the belt may be the issue, but the 3rd time I started the machine over 5 min period, everything worked fine, even with the loose belt. So if this will throw that error of charge pressure, I'll search for the valve and take that poppet out.

Have a old T300 and it does close to the same brakes will not release. New pump and it still does the same thing. Have to try and rock it with the bucket and it will sometimes release.

We have a 2006 Bobcat S250 (with about 18,000 hours). When you push the green button to operate the machine it might take 15 seconds before you can operate the loader. It is almost like you have to gently push the pedals back and forth (even though they are still locked out and you can't push them very far) and that will help get them unlocked. Could this be the problem on this era of machine too?

Hello, i have a 2012 t770 that wont release the left brake right away when you press the green button or lately the brake started to grab while in operation. This all started happening after we replaced the final with and aftermarket one that only requires the brake release line. kinda had me stumped as its only one side and worked perfectly when first installed

@HowIDidIt Thank you for your videos. I have never worked on a bobcat before but I am helping a friend with his 2017 T650 ALJG21206 throwing code M2899. I am not sure sure where the "FRONT BASE" is located. When you start the machine and pull the lap bar down the park brake will not release. The red light on the park brake switch stays illuminated. When you press the Green Push to Operate button the engine instantly stops running. And Shutdown is displayed on the monitor. I have removed the coils on the main control valve, I did not ohm out but I did energize the coils and put a screwdriver in it to verify it was good. They had a strong field. I even removed the valves to check for obstructions and to verify the valve had stroke with the energized coil. I did the same test with the solenoid valve on the top of the gear pump. I did the same with the park brake and two-speed coils. I have cleaned and applied a thin layer of dielectric grease to all female connectors under the cab. I installed a new Continental 31 series battery. The little ground wires at the battery had some cheap screw-tight lugs on them. I removed the old lugs and soldered in copper #4 eyelets. Could my that plunger completely block the flow and make the computer think that I have an open circuit because I have no charge pressure? Any input is greatly appreciated. You have earned my sub. When I put my breaker on my bobcat s590 are 15 minutes or so it stops working I have to shut the machine off and restart the process all over …when it’s first start doing the …it gets to the point it won’t operate it anymore by shutting it down I thought maybe it was being restricted not enough flow …but someone else said it sounded like it could be a solenoid not working right do you have any suggestions…just wondering where you would start looking for the problem it does show a W3275 code …thank you 7:08

I have a t650 2018. Lock the tracks or the bucket. But mostly is the tracks. I replace the solenoids for parking and 1 on the main distribution valve. Work fine for one week, and now does the same. we put in a new main harness before cause Bobcat told me is the problem. Any recommendations.

I have a 2013 T650 bobcat. We just changed two older lines on the final drive. One blew and the other was soon on its way out. Brake and rear smaller line. 2 speed machine. After the lines were replaced, the brakes won’t fully release. Getting a squealing sound. Could the ball valve be the issue here as well? It worked fine before replacing the lines

I have that issue sometimes on a 773. The arms lock and it feels like the brake is on when I press the green button. If I raise the lock bar and lower it again press the button again and it runs normal. Might that be the possible cause? After watching this video, I checked the manual and I see the tube but no breakdown of it. Thanks again for all the great videos, very helpful to us who love these machines. Jeff

Great video!! I have 2017 T550 AUX will go to full flow when seatbar is lifted any ideas? I can hit the green button and turn on the Aux switch and turn off the full flow and back on again and off but when the bar is lifted it turns back on to full flow. Also the int switch doesn’t work at all.

I have a 751 the hydraulics (boom and bucket) lock up intermittently. Replaced bisc solenoid and valve. Still same problem. Put constant 12v to the solenoid to eliminate electrical problems. Still same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Assuming something in the valve.

Thank you for your channel. You seem very knowledgeable about bobcats. I have a question that you mite have run into before. I have an 853 that leaks hydraulic oil in into the chain case and can't see a hydraulic line going into it. It's not on the high pressure side, it's a gravity leak. Don't know how it's getting there. Am I missing something?

It's entering the chain case thru the carrier seal. The drive motor bolts to the carrier and oil from drive motor leaks past carrier seal into chain case. If the case drain filters for the drive motors are clogged then case pressure will build up and blow that carrier seal, however seal itself could have just failed. Hard part is finding out which side, just do both sides and make sure to change case drain filters.

Hello! Can I call you I need help with a bobcat you and I talked about this problem customer complains all hydraulic functions are slow. I tested this skid s550 2015 cat with and without a load everything works and runs properly. Loaded the bucket went up and down drove it everything runs with and without a load fine. He wants me to replace a pump. I am start to doubt if it was a pump all my functions would be slow. It is cold out here I did drain the tank put new fluid and filter and check this check valve what am I missing!?

I cleaned those out before I pulled the unit into the shop. Inspected the pedal and linkage is fine. Just the bucket down is slow. Sometimes the bucket rise acts up. Other than that she runs well. Do you have any information/content on a s550? Thank you for your help.

If it's manual drive the pump pintle shafts can suck air thru the seals, but usually you will find the gear pump needs to be replaced.

If you have the controller with green light behind the seat then yes it has BICS but this would not be an issue on the 7753. This was on the later models.

Sounds like the gear pump is bad, need to pressure test and check main relief.

I’ve got a 773F I wonder does it have that little check valve in it I’m having an issue with my hydraulics as well my tilt and lift functions are good but I cannot lower the boom it comes down but very slowly and under strain from the engine seems like it’s working against itself

This check is not on the 773F. Sounds like a piston on one of the lift cylinders has backed off. Not an issue going up because of pressure seats the piston on the rod. If the only issue is with the down function start by disassembling the lift cylinders.

I have a bobcat 873 that when on idle smokes really really bad blue and then under any load smokes straight black and has absolutely no power. The motor runs fine and sounds good. You wouldn't know there was a problem until you see the smoke and experience a lack of power. Do you think that can be a bad turbo?

I’m having a problem with my t595, the machine runs great for 20 minutes or so and then shuts down. I can restart it and run again for 20 minutes, service has checked codes and blames it on the hydrostat, saying it’s sending signal as a swatch plate error. Bobcat says I need new hydrdrostat and control cable .$12k fix. I find that hard to believe it’s the hydrostat, . Need help!

Could be the hydrostatic pump or could be a sensor. Hard to tell without troubleshooting the machine.

I did this 3days ago on a bobcat t650 after watching this video. Took 20-30 minutes total. Instant fix. For anyone else reading this. The hard line is a tight/perfect fit. Don't pry or bend the line or you will be fidgeting with it trying to get it right. Very easy to cross thread. It's in a tight space. I had to cut a 3/4 open end wrench in half.

Hi I'm actually having some trouble with a S300 where the bucket tilt isn't working. The lift arms are good but the bucket tilt non operational. Could this poppet be the cause? There are no codes only a light flashing on the bucket tilt.
