Bobcat On Starkey Gap Bike Trail August 18, 2024

I spotted a bobcat tonight on the Starkey Gap Bike Trail that I have seen before a couple of months ago. This time it had a rabbbit in it's mouth and it jumped into one of the neighbor's back yards.
The video was actually almost pitch black but, I used some gamma magic and tweaked the brightness a little. I am surprised the video almost came out like it was broad daylight. The sun already had set. It was dark but, still light enough for me to see.

Our puppy disappeared from our backyard which faces starkey park. Was this close to Aristida?

I'm sorry you lost your puppy. I am worried about small animals being behind these small fences. People are telling me that Bobcats are common around these areas. This area that I have seen one for a 2nd time in two months was on the Starkey Gap trail South of SR-54. The top of the Starkey Gap Trail is at the most Southern part of Starkey Blvd and SR-54.
