For the door latch, loosen the two Allen screws on the cab frame and slide it back roughly 1/8” to start, and tighten. Close the door slowly to make sure it lines up before closing harder. Repeat and fine tune if not right the first time. My door was rattling and let in water when cleaning. Fixed the problem and a world of difference.

Great video, and funny! I have a T64, which I was told even has the same engine as the t66 but less horse power due to a computer setting. Anyway, totally agree with you on the stickers……they are horrible. I hate having a new machine that looks old because of the stickers. I need the fan too, and agree, why not make that standard. I added the side light kit and definitely would recommend them, but I work a lot at night. I also got the upgraded glass that gets rid of 75% of the side grates, by accident, as it was all they had at the time and I would never not get that feature. Even though the backup camera is nice I still would like a center mirror like some of the other manufacturers give you. Ultimately, like you I would definitely buy it again. Thanks for making the video!

I have the same machine, and I as well hate those 2 grease points, and the fluid sight glass is just in a poor location But my biggest complaint is how the tracks get clogged up especially in mud, in dry dirt there is no problem, the bobcat stickers plain are junk. but the machine is awesome and overall if I had to choose I would still get it. I dont have the coolant issue you have I also do not have an issue going up hills. In the cab The door is a dumb design and it needs another place to put gloves or whatever

On our S66 the backup camera is disconnecting more often than being used and this causes a warning chime every 3 second or so. The Max control system is that you connect to the machine go through the start up process and then reconnect to the machine because it lost WIFI signal for some reason. We had the rear left hub replaced twice with under 50 hours of time on the machine, the second time it broke was on snow and ice without tire chains.

Thx for running thru your list. Never owned a machine that didn’t have $@#&% issues. My takeaways: it moves whatever it lifts; plan to take your time going up grade, and you’d buy it again. So, the T-66 stays on my list. My complaint: i don’t like having to travel 45 miles to the dealer. Don’t worry, I’ve already called the whambulance.

Love the review. I have a 2012 T190 and love the machine. Love the wide tracks and how it performs. I am a joystick and 2 speed guy myself so I definitely prefer the joystick. When I get into a hand and foot it brings me back to my beginnings and takes a bit to get reoriented with it. I was considering trading on a T64 or 66 but the price is crazy now plus dealing with DEF is not a great selling feature for me. Bobcat really should pay attention to these little things as they make the experience when you are spending hours inside one of these. I have hit the back door a couple of times and can say that new door does not look as solid, especially with all those gadgets attached to it on the inside too.

Thanks my guy, I’m glad you enjoyed my complaining! As far as the window latches being on the wrong side…. I know sober me would have never got those mixed up when I did the tint job. Great review, funny too, love it! I’ll say this right away, I’ve never had a track machine. Last Bobcat was a 2010 S650. Absolutely loved it. I don’t know much about the new machines as I’ve been retired for 6 yrs and haven’t kept up. Too many quality issues it seems from your review. I noticed the stickers right away!! Ugh that’s ridiculous. I also can’t believe you paid $80k for a machine without 2 speed! WTF?? Take it back and get one with 2 speed. I’m a hand/foot guy too, never liked joystick or just hands. It’s what you learn on. I hate that I’m gonna say this, but maybe consider Kubota machines now? I was always a staunch supporter of Bobcat , but after seeing yours, I just can’t defend a lot of that BS. Have you looked at ASV?? Those track systems are the best supposedly. Anyway, I really enjoyed your video! Take care.

You’re fortunate you got the foot controls Sounds like they’re working decent for you.We got the joystick control it doesn’t matter what setting you have it on there is such a delay that when you start to do real finesse work against buildings ,plumbing pipes,Getting pallets down off from racking material in the shop etc. you have to anticipate every move with the delay. They’re like a bad joystick video game in the early days. The salesman said air software updates it will get better, they’ve done it twice no improvement yet.The caterpillar skid steer is much more real time

I know exactly what your talking about. I was runnin an old 873 foot control machine before this one. There’s a huge learning curve to it. Like you said once you kinda get the hang of how the machine reacts it just becomes second nature after some hours on the machine.

I still think Bobcat has the best machine and IF fully loaded the most luxury comforts and badass looking but if they keep pulling this chincy crap like the stickers, hydro sight glass, rattling, etc. someone else is going to beat them to a better machine build. There are too many options now not to perfect this. I spoke to a bobcat rep last week and told him that Cat's service is bar none the best so when I spend 90k on a new machine they better treat me like I'm at the BMW dealership.

I love the machine, the cab looks a lot more comfortable then my Kubota SVL 65. Honestly I don’t think the Kubota has a single issue that you talked about. Now don’t get me wrong they have their own issues - like the windshield washer fluid reservoir on the inside of the cab right above the cup holder so it gets all over your arm and drink from bouncing around. Or how the fuel filler neck is at such a low angle it takes fuel really slow. But I am really surprised at the little details bobcat left out when designing that machine.

Therefore I don’t really see how that makes me Debbie downer. I guess I’ll make another video just talking about all the positive things on this unit so I don’t trigger guys like you.
