Talking of failures, even we humans fail not to talk of ordinary squirrel being caught by a bobcat, the dog catches rabbit, the lion catches a whole lot of animals, even the pet cat in the home catches the lizard. The bobcat moves up the tree almost as fast as the squirrel. When descending the squirrel shows his superiority when it comes to tree climbing. At 0:28 the squirrel gets a bit impatient and moves to the right to see what's keeping the bobcat. 😂

That bobcats scaling ability is frigging awesome! That foxsquirrel's agility and moxy is pretty amazing as well. About 30 years ago I was driving down through Savage River State Park in Western Maryland on county road named Dry Run. I happened upon a bobcat about the size of one in this video sunning itself in a huge hardwood tree less than 100 yds away. We sit there admiring each other for about 10 mins or so before it got bored and climbed down and strolled away. First and last time I've been fortunate enough to see a cat in the wild.
