My employer has one of these and for grounds maintenance they're fantastic. Everybody focuses on the 50k+ price, until you realize this thing replaces the need for a sxs, a skid steer and utility tractor in a typical grounds maintenance application, a third the maintenance, a third the storage. About the only improvement i can think of is some kind of rear pto for use with the likes of a farmboy 3 point setup.
@_lime.4 жыл бұрын
They have one with rear PTO, the one shown here is the 5600, the one you're looking for is the 5610.

If they made a more heavy duty version, with a 3 point hitch and PTO on the back, it would probably sell very well to small farms.

Wow! I saw a post from Bobcat 7 hours ago so here goes: I lean towards the 5610 but I haven't been able to determine what kind of hydraulic power is available on the rear end. Can I put hale bale forks front and rear? What is the GPM at what PSI? (EDIT: Never mind...followed one of your links and git the info.) Can you run a mower on the front and a rototiller or soil conditioner on the rear at the same time? Does Bobcat lease these?
@BobcatCo4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out to us! Our bale fork attachment is a front-mount style. We do not offer a rear-mount. You can learn more about this attachment here: www.bobcat.com/attachments/bale-fork/features Our soil conditioner is a front-mount style and cannot be run simultaneously with our mower attachment. You can learn more about the soil conditioner attachment here: www.bobcat.com/attachments/soil-conditioner/features and more information about the mower attachment can be found here: www.bobcat.com/attachments/mower/features. I like the idea but not at almost $50k...that would be a super nice tractor. Or multiple compact utility tractors.
@machinist72304 жыл бұрын
It sounds like alot, until you realize this will replace a utility sidebyside, a skid steer and a small utility tractor in one package. The way i see it the real market for these things is grounds maintenance( what my employer uses theirs for) or for owners of larger estates, sorta a jack of all trades, master of none. It replaces three vehicles that would cost more than double this thing, and while not as good at each machines specialization, its good enough. It also means a third the maintenance and a third the storage space.
@_lime.4 жыл бұрын
@@machinist7230 Yeah. These things can't replace a skid steer for construction or a tractor for proper agricultural work, but if you have a large estate, or a golf course and you need to mow, transport tools, move soil and aggregate, clear snow, cut trees and move logs, etc... it's fantastic.

I would NEVER buy another one. Cab rotted out after a year, had electrical issue in the attachment control and they "couldn't see what the problem was" after 6 trips to Bobcat Dealer over a 3 month period (during the busiest time of the year for what it was purchased for), Dump body hoist had to be replaced after 4 months (never used the dump body?!) Purchased with a pickup broom that arrived with the hoses on the "curb broom" reversed so we had to take the time correcting the problem losing time we could have been working. Never again will I purchase a Bobcat product.

50k , are you having a laugh , and at that price the radio is an option , i really dont think so.
@machinist72304 жыл бұрын
There serious, and to be honest, theres really no competition for this thing, as its not really a side by side, but a wierd almagamation between a side x side, a skid steer and a small utility tractor - start adding up what it would cost to buy all three, and suddenly 50k doesnt look so bad. My employer has one, and its surprising how good it is. The only real downside is the relatively low top speed,(17mph, iirc) compared to a typical side by side, but that goes with hydrostatic drive systems.

i love these things but well over $50k new ...are you kidding? i could buy a NICE fuckin 1 ton diesel for that
