Ok, if you knew THIS song, then how did you not know the Suzanne Vega song in a few notes? Sorry, teasing, but just curious. I get it, you were into clubs., Or was it age, or what am I missing? Btw, Kylie had just come out w Loco Motion '88, not into pop, travelling in Ireland during my gap year, all of 5 even & 85lbs w an overbite & poodle cut. A group of schoolboys insisted that I was her and begged for an autograph lol, but I didn't even know who she was! I was a fan of The Smiths and The Violent Femmes at the time.

They are German and most of their songs are German, but they are still great. Just wouldn’t recommend you their album „12“ because it’s … well the vibe is pretty dark. They made this album in 2020 with social distancing (recorded themselves mostly alone at home and put it all together in the end). And well the songs are about the anxiety and sorrows we all had in 2020 due to Covid.

The drummer does use a full set in concert and some videos. Henning May's voice is really special. The arrangements are so cool whether it's just the 3 of them, or a almost full orgastra.

He uses his full drum set most of the times. I would recommend looking at any of the recent releases they have made with the "Probaum Session" they are playing with violins and trombones and sax and trumpet and cello as well as their regular guitar bass guitar set up. I love their Probaum Session "Ausgehen" and "Vielleicht Vielleicht"

Absolutely like your reactions. Like AMK since quite some years and appreciate you doing reactions to theire music too. When you do some to theire origins should translate the texts cause the meaning alqays correlates with the vibe. I love this kind of music, feels real. All playing instruments, probably due to theire start on playing downtown in cologne it gives you the feeling of old times when music was a lot different from now. Unique so to say

My son said hey dad I heard this song on TikTok you should do this one. Well his birthday was about a month away so I did the video for his birthday. It was out for a week then got blocked there was no way to unblock it. A month later it was unblocked and blew up and here we are. So glad it got unblocked.

Bob, You remind me of my Band teacher. He was such a huge factor in my musical life. I appreciate your videos and how in sync we are on the reactions you give. You've actually lit a fire under this old gal to pick up her instruments (sax, flute, clarinet) and try to locate a place to gather with like-minded musicians. I got a 3/4 Fender Acoustic a few years back and wanted to learn how to play, but ended up having hand surgery on both hands for CTS and that kind of put that off. But, thinking I might hit up the local Community College for beginner acoustic lessons and see what happens. Thank you for your insight and just keep living! You rock! 🫶

I think it was 2012 when I visited Cologne, my wife actually wanted to go shopping, but we met AnnenMayKantereit on a street corner. We stood there for 1 hour and were flashed, the band were street musicians at the time.
