i woke up and read the comments and was so surprised and humbled by the outpouring of love and support. If you want to do something for me, go and show the same support for some other synth youtuber too.. let them know you care. That means more than you know.

Please ignore the tini percentage of negative people who make comment with death threats and other abuse it's not real its people being keyboard worriers or paid troll farms. I had the exact same on a different channel a few years ago. Best thing you can do is ignore them and carry on unaffected or at least dont show it.

That is a very nice pinned comment Bo! I could definately use a bit of love on my channel. Just made my first video with myself in it showing how to make big pads like Chicane from the 90s on my hardware gear! So if anyone likes retro 90s stuff I sure could use your support 😊 any tips bo for new youtubers only starting the journey in this saturated space? Cheers ❤
@BoBeats14 күн бұрын
@@Ronele_music Firstly, the space is not saturated at all. Since I started by simply experimenting until I found my voice that is what I recommend. Try different video ideas, try different formats for the videos. Try different titles and thumbnails. Play with it. Have fun. Because after a while, as you grow on youtube, you will have more difficulty changing things. 90's retro for example feels very hot right now. My kids are all about that 90's style (they even watch old 90's sitcoms...). With a retro focused channel the key is tapping into the nostalgia, both in content and presentation (thumb, title and intro). Make sure intro is short and to the point. Clearly explain what the video is about. Create a hook so people will be motivated to actually care about your content. Because in the end KZbin doesnt decide what people watch: people do. They watch things that interest them. And come back if its good enough!

It’s more complex. Many, many people, especially men, have never lived anything else than this online life full of cynicism and hate, where every hardship in their life is someones elses fault. It’s where the culture is at and it’s sick. And sad. They can only find companionship in communities of hate. A desire for destruction. Something’s gotta give…we’re at a brink…of something.

I'm at the very beginning of my synth journey. Heck of my musical journey to be more precise. But I've always been interested in synths. From afar wondering all those knobs and buttons do. Recently I was gifted a digital piano along with online lessons. Seeing that the keyboard has a MIDI port, I started looking at what I could do with it. Maybe it could lead me down the way towards learning about synthesizer. Searching on KZbin, trying to understand this new foreign world of LFOs, patches, patterns and envelopes, I stumbled upon your channel. I was immediately hooked to the quality of the content and your friendly and professional delivery. I'm not big on social medias, leaving comments and online communities. But I did not hesitate on watching this video as soon as it came out and comment on it to tell you that for every negative person online, there is an order of magnitude more that are respectful and positive. It's just that we don't get our voice heard as much or as loudly. So I'm doing my part. Thanks for your wonderful channel and I hope 2025 will provide you with many opportunities to produce videos that interest you as much as us.

Hej Bo, firstly you must always, always look after your health - the rest doesn't really matter in life. So whatever you choose to do is fine by me. On the subject of toxicity - this is now a world-wide problem and as someone who has not only recieved personal death threats but threats to my family I know how upsetting these can be. People quite frankly need to get a life but you should know that those that care far exceed those that hate (for whatever reason) - so again you have the support of the vast majority of your viewers I am sure. As to the content - I always enjoy pretty much everything you do, even if I don't want that piece of equipment or find it of specific interest, what I do believe is great is variety. So I would say keep this up. Kramar från en svensk medborgare. Vi ses kanske längst i norr en dag!

I actually have close to zero formal music training, but produced music since 1998. Got signed by a label at 14, tho it didnt exactly lead to fame and riches. Took audio engineering classes in high school. And just made a lot of music, mixed, mastered and did live audio. But I opted flr an academic career and between 2010-2020 i was heavily invested in that. Then 2020 i left Uni and therapy for a sabatical. Pandemic happened and I choose to take a leap of faith and go full time.

10 years! Well done, and thank you! 😊 Like you, my gateway synth experience was a circuit tracks, and it still sits hooked up in my studio in almost daily use. That was four years ago, about the time I found your channel. As I was adding more beautiful instruments to my studio - Matriarch, Hydrasynth, Subsequent, Take 5 (you get the picture) - I came to your channel to see how to connect all the midi, how to use thru and merge boxes, to get ideas for my own music and more. And you always had the info I needed. So thank you very much. I’m not brave enough to put my musical noodling on KZbin, and part of that is the fear of online abuse. So I totally understand your feelings on the state of the internet. It makes me even more grateful that you were here when I sought ideas. I notice another KZbin musical creative in your comments that I’ve not seen before so I’m off to visit their channel. 😊 Hej då!
