Can this be loaded with acoustic drum samples for rock/metal? If so, can release, decay, nuance be tweaked on the samples? Does it have acoustic drums already in the unit?

Thanks for your work and especially for touching in the healthiest possible way on the issue of toxicity. Unfortunately, toxicity is a part of life. We should just focus on the so many people who have the wish to contribute in a possible way to everyone's lives. You are one of them and admire your consistent positive attitude, especially considering that you have been through some difficult times (I hope your health keeps improving). Your work here is a source of inspiration for a lot of people. Keep it up!

Glad you are around and doing better, I agree with you 100% with the topic of toxicity in this world. We can do well without it specially nowadays. Also thank you so much for all your content. It’s not just fun, but it’s always quite informative.

I'm not one for writing toxic comments, but I can see why some people would be tempted to say something negative to people who regularly upload synthesizer videos on KZbin. There is a history to this and you know it because you are an example of someone who started off buying his own gear and shared his experiences to interested viewers with no hype, no BS. Just a straightforward video-title and the video. There was a time when most people who shared synth videos on KZbin shared them purely in the spirit of sharing. Now (for some KZbinrs) it's clearly about money, sponsors, likes, subscribes, polished presentations, plastic plants, sexy lighting and self-censorship. By electing to engage in this promotion-influencer culture a grass roots internet community has turned into a buyer's bazaar. I am far more likely to trust a kid doing an unpolished video on his mobile phone telling me why his synthesizsr is shit after using it for two months than listening to "Influencers" who live for likes, subscribes and corporate goodies. That kid has no reason to engage in self-censorship, nor do they seek likes etc because there is no reason to. From the kid's perspective KZbin is just a free platform to upload videos. If you want to view KZbin as a shopping mall then that's your decision, but if people see the disingenuousness in your and others' videos hopefully my comments will provide a partial explanation. Please don't take this the wrong way. I do not wish to sound or be rude, quite the opposite. I have followed your channel (and several others) over the past 10 years and I have noticed the changes all too clearly. It's a shame.

I dont mind the comment at all. Its thoughtful and totally fair. The tricky thing is, even with your analogy you are treating the kids video as a shoppers assistant. And you are assuming its less biased and more trustworthy. And at a glance it might feel that way. But the reality is that bias doesn’t work that way. Things can be polished and less biased, and rough and very biased. A rougher ’uncensored’ esthethic can be just as much a form of branding. I think trust builds over time instead. And you learn to understand the reviewer. That is what is needed to truly get value out of anyone giving their opinion on something. And when you watch someone for a longer period of time you see their strengths, weaknesses, and even faults. As for the change towards more ’professional looking’ youtube videos. The numbers and engagement speak for itself. Back in the day people didnt really watch that much synth content, but with increased production quality and better videos people got more into it. Even this video you just watched took almost a week to finalize. Because I wanted to make it a good viewing experience. I didnt just want to upload my thoughts. I wanted people to also come away with a meaningful experience. Which i think I succeeded at given the lengthy comment you left. Which i am thankful for. I am not saying a more rough video cant be good. But its very clear to me that the videos getting better also has meant a larger audience for them. And a deeper appreciation overall for us as youtubers. Because, fun fact, the hate was much stronger back around 2017-2019. Where videos were far less polished. It was very rough back then. Nowdays its rough in a different way. Less direct hate, but when the mob gets angry it grabs the pitchforks way too fast. And over very minor things. And this worries me. Its like (insert synth company or youtuber)becomes a proxy (a replacement) for real issue. And instead of engaging with those problems people get incredibly angry and take it out over this easier target. Anyways. Just some thoughts. Have a good weekend!

Honestly, we have world leaders who refuse to accept responsibility for anything, and defend criminals while they talk about invading their allies. No wonder there's so much vile behaviour online. I'm more of a lurker on synth channels, but really enjoy your approach and communication skills. Ha det bra!

Chord mode not working via MIDI is ridiculous and still not addressed. You touch a single note on the grid while Synth is in chord mode and it plays a chord...Great! You play a single note on a MIDI keyboard or sequencer while the Synth is in chord mode, you get......a single note. To have a synth that relies solely on MIDI to be useful and to have it completely ignore that it's in chord mode when you are triggering notes externally FROM MIDI is mind boggling. Adding further insult to injury, if you are syncing it with their own Tracker or Tracker + (which only allows you to play mono notes per track), you'd need to use three tracks to play a chord. Asinine.

"In 2020 I took a leap of faith and... cut my hair short" ;) Happy new year Bo! Definitely up for hearing more of your voice this year. In terms of Summer of Synths, one thing I really like about it is getting to hear a bunch of different perspectives. If you wanted to turn it into a more conversational series where you visit people, tour their studios and talk about how you both work, I think that would be great. A good opportunity for a sip of the coffee, too. Have a great 2025 ❤
