I am not going to lie but your videos inspire me to practice and tryout for my middle school quad section and practice so I can be great like the drum line in this video. I also subbed and liked your jig 2 videos, and thanks for the inspiration.

Work hard and take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves as well as making your own opportunities through your hard work and you will be great! I appreciate you taking time to comment and for watching! I am actually editing the next Jig 2 video as I write this to you! Maybe you will be first to see it! Take care!

Bob I absolutely love the OMMB! A question. If you are the director how would you teach someoneone new to tenors this song? I'm pretty okay on everything through the "Mary had a little Lamb" sequence, but beyond that my sticking goes pfffft. These kids absolutely rock (no pun intended)
@cjmason63415 жыл бұрын
Hemi Price I know i’m not the guy you’re looking for but here’s my two cents...if you are trying to teach someone completely new to tenors this, it may be in your better interest to teach something easier to build speed. however, if you still insist upon teaching, simply get yourself or one of your better players in front of a tenor with this video slowed down and learn it to the best of your ability, them teach it.
@Myerph5 жыл бұрын
Jig 2 has always had some pretty weird sticking and to make it look good, some parts of it we have even tried applying paradiddles to allow a hand to get to the 4th drum. The sticking that we use it whatever makes it easier to play, so once you figure out the right drums I recommend you just go through it and use whatever sticking works best.
@nicobernal9555 жыл бұрын
First of all they are not called songs they are called cadences and they have sheet music and old teonors
@bwfitz5 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the question. I’m neither a director nor drum instructor just the videographer! I’m sure you’ll get better with practice. The students at OM learn it by ear as they have done for years. I think someone transcribed it and has posted a video on KZbin. Best of luck playing our little cadence. Keep the Jig alive! Thanks for watching!
