I have a Ken Fischer-modded Marshall that, unfortunately, has been returned to stock. I do have photos of her circuit in various different "versions" over the years and there was some wild sh*t going on in there! What a great time in history! These guys are pioneers and Bob is a living national treasure! Raise a toast to these gentlemen, everyone!

I knew Ken since 1988, his knowledge was unparalleled. He taught me everything I know about amplifiers. Such a sweet man too. I sure miss him.

Listening to you talk sure reminds me of home. My first music purchase, the 45 of joy to the world. I was just a little kid then. Wbcn💜. We share the same taste. I was born in 1963. I am the kid who jumped the train and lost his feet at 11 years old 1975 Needham. The advice in your videos has helped me to tame my tone! Thank you!!! 🎸🎭🥁🕊🏴☠️😎

that was funny because the way you discover music was a similar process for me first listening the radio and it was mostly all i knew (aside some CD and Cassette from my parents) my headphone was quite crappy (my dad use to get find them at finance Office garbage where they would trow the surplus to the trash) then i had some older friends (that where and still are musician) i got better headphone and got mindblow now i got studio monitor and iam again mindblow haha that made me discover lots of music i could not even aware of Genesis Dream Theater Phish (iam really influence by Trey Anastasio because of the variety of tone he could get in one song while always sounding like himself) now iam looking my myself sound in a way and still on the quest (thought you said your amp make a human voice like and iam really intrigue) could listen to your story all day and had a guitar jam any time it i would not live that far cheers from Quebec Canada!

For me, the guitar (and saxophones) are like the voice of the soul trying to sing to The Creator. Like the most beautiful human voice, when it's really happening, it's a transcendental experience

Original circuits were designed because of lack of funds and abundance of junk electronics being repurposed for the sole purpose of amplification. Love what you said about component inconsistentses being the reason amps were different Think all amp designers like yourself are each looking for something different tone wise there is really no "better" amp more like paintings or music, just different

I bought a Trainwreck Liverpool 30 from Ken. Had it for six years. Ran my phone bill up as well the handful of times I called him. Would get a Gjika if I had the money.

@@scottdunn2178 Miss him too. Things sometime cross my mind where I'll think "That would be great to discuss with Ken". Even though I was eventually able to purchase an amp I only knew him through about 6 letters and 6 phone calls at the most. A jamming buddy of mine had a Liverpool and an Express built after my amp. He'd sold both of them by the time I sold mine. He used to talk to Ken a lot more than I ever did.
