I wish I still had the 20 or so letters that Ken wrote me. He was such a character, and had the most twisted sense of humor. I miss him.

This was great! I’ve been trying to dig up as much as possible on Ken’s amps and the theory behind the Trainwreck designs. It was really nice to have someone who actually knew him well stop to talk about Ken the person instead of focusing on just the amps. I don’t think it’s possible to really understand what made Trainwreck amps so special without knowing some of what made Kenny Fischer so special. Thank you for sharing this, Bob.

Iam glad i have a childhood friend like that we where just able to see each other after years apart (distance and Covid lockdown) played some guitar and had a beer friends like that are precious (we do have a twisted sense of humor too hehe) i have also other really good friends like that (actually the reason iam so curious about Trainwreck in the first place is because they made me discover Phish and Trey Anastasio is one the biggest guitar influence on me and I've being obsessed with his sound till i quite recently found he use a Komet 60 and also some original Trainwreck that he have on loan with time i realize I am even more interess about the character than the gear itself (anyway most of them is out of my reach financially) (though ive order a modeller that include the capture of a komet concorde so i cant wait to try it on (quad cortex)) i do have a sound in my mind i try to reach and trying every tool i can to reach it ( on the digital atm because it is the tool available to me) but your story and experience is really inspiring

Where do you source your Transformers from? Do you have a company make them for you or do you just buy off the shelf from someone like Hammond? Thanks and I really enjoyed your video

I wonder why having DC fed Filiments , rather than AC , would change the sound of an amp ? . I wonder if this is true for Vacuum Tube HiFi amps as well ? .

Hi Bob, are your amps based on an old Marshall or Vox design or are they a totally different thing? Also, to me how an amp responds to my fingers is as important as the sound...where can I try your amps in the UK? I would also like to know the price of your amps
