Again another great video on how to tie a knot that can be used to rescue some one. I did it by tying it around a small eyedrop bottle container.

Thank you. After much searching this is the best tutorial so far on the bowline. All of the other videos were confusing when people spin the orientation of the knot during their videos. Yours was simple. thanks again!

Could you also use a figure 8 knot for the same purpose, except instead of only tying a large enough loop hole to fit into a clasp, you tie it large enough to go around the torso, which one is more secure? I noticed the figure 8 is also a non slip knot

Teaching tip...between each move...show three times before moving to the next step..if you move directly from one move to the next it is less effective. To. close video, you could then demonstrate as the video is now so that the knot tie is thematic. Trust, me those who for whatever reason have trouble with tying knots and are predominantly your viewers would greatly appreciate it.

Isn't that a sheet bend with two ropes? And I really need to know how to do a trucker's hitch. Do you have a video on that?

The knot you show at the beginning if this vid is a sheet bend...??? Great example of proper line management exhibiting your expertise at whipping the bitter end...

there are many knots used in climbing but seldom/never would one use a bowline.
