BOBI WINE apologizes to Ugandans, takes Kyarenga Concert to Busaabala One Love Beach

After being frustrated by police, Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) and management of Mandela National Stadium- Namboole, Ugandan pop star Robert Kyagulanyi has announced that he will hold his Kyarenga concert at One Love beach in Busaabala.
The new venue and date which is November 10, 2018 were revealed as the legislator briefed the media in Kamwokya.
Flanked by other musicians like Nubian Lee, King Saha, Jennifer full figure and Zex, the Kyadondo East MP on Monday told journalists that his fans are free to party untill dawn and those willing to spend a night at Busaabala are free to do so.
He also revealed that he already informed police about his show and expects them to provide security as revellers will pay Shs10, 000 each.

That is exactly the point. So when someone who has businesses becomes a President, they have to cut links o that there is no conflict of interests. Bobbi Wine is an MP, but if he starts going round conducting his music career and concerts and so on, there too starts to occur a conflict of interest as a music career is business. His work as an MP should make him popular as an MP because of the work he does as an MP, not because he is a 'popstar' other nobody can judge if he is a good MP or not. Interest in him may have nothing to do with his work as an MP and so defeats the whole purpose of a democratic system in which people should be able to see an MP's popularity or unpopularity and assess whether they should pay attention to them or not. But the most serious thing is that whatever money he gets for his work as an MP and whatever opportunities he gets to reach millions of people on TV, Newspapers or radio due on airplay platforms dedicated to MP for increase an MP's exposure as part of the democratic process are being exploited by him to increase his music and concert sales while depriving other more sincere and dedicated MP's who could have used the same platform only from politics and serving only the people from getting those airplay slots.
